Someone is using article spinner to distort many articles from Associated Content.
Unfortunately my articles suffer the same disfiguration.
One of my article is about Economics on Demand.
My original paragraph is:
"The study of Economics is about demand and supply. The Law of Demand and the Law of Supply are easy to understand.
However, many students of Economics find it hard to understand the difference between a change in demand and a change in quantity demanded.
The demand curve is a downward-slopping curve. The demand curve shows that as the price of an item decreases, consumers want to buy more of it."It
It becomes this,
"The investigate of Economics is about direct and supply. The Law of Demand and the Law of Supply have been easy to understand. However, most students of Economics find it tough to assimilate the disproportion in between a shift in direct and a shift in apportion demanded. The direct bend is a downward-slopping curve. The direct bend shows which as the cost of an object decreases, consumers wish to buy some-more of it"
I wonder which college Economics students will know what is the direct and supply?
This blogger has distorted a few hundred AC articles. You can check out the site (universitywizard.com) and see if your articles suffer the same fate!
I wonder what's so fun of plagiarizing, and using article spinner for blogging purpose!
What's the point of having a blog when the blogger refuses to write?

The amended portion is more difficult to understand.
I have not written many articles on the Internet, and have not suffered the same fate. In your case it can be considered as a form of stealing, like someone stealing a car and make some changes to it, so it looks different. NEvertheless the pattern is the same. Was a software used to modify the article? A human article spinner could change its pattern.
Most probably the blogger thought there was nothing wrong in making a few changes, to make it appears different at first glance. Any software used is considered as a tool to write. I do not think he or she has any guilt feeling at all. Maybe to him/her he/she is writing with the use of a tool.
I would not want the person as a friend.

The problem with an automated program is in the output. The software simply chooses a synonym, without looking at the context.
People like this blogger will never become extinct. The lure of easy money does muddle up sensibility in many of them. The use of an automation shows many things about the person, including laziness, greed, and possible average standard of writing. Maybe a real wizard, but not in academics.
Isn't there anything that could be done to prevent this guy from continuing on with the activities?

Hi Rosdimy, since this blogger uses Wordpress, the writers in AC and AC management are complaining to Wordpress, hope Wordpress can shut down the website soon.
Most hosting services are pretty fast in responding to plagarism and this kind of disgraceful blogging.
I dont know why articles in AC face this kind of problem so often. Almost every week, some writers detect the problem, and post a thread in the forum. I think AC has to take action to stop this kind of nonsense.

Hello my friend. Plagerism is a terrible problem sometimes, and it is very wrong! If the plagerist gets caught, there is always trouble for him/her. Someone even plagerized one of my discussions here on MyLot. Another member reported it, notified me, and the person was thrown off MyLot.
Thank you for the information!

That is really sad. I hope soon someone will discover a good way to thwart that program!

Wow, now I have heard everything! The Internet produces more cheaters than anyone could possibly imagine! And cheating in ways no one could have dreamed of. I think if you can put your brain to this kind of use, surely you could write your own articles. The person is ultimately lazy, that's what I say.
After having had someone steal my article and post it to their blog, I don't even want to know if he is using my articles from AC. I'd rather stick my head in the sand!
On a side note, I signed up to follow you on AC, Scheng!

The problem is automation. While the web crawlers are automated, it takes a real human to realize the articles don't make sense. I've seen this cheating happen from time to time on Helium, too. People will just post nonsense or writing that in no way correlates to the topic. It's up to human readers to discover it and alert management.
Automation does not necessarily mean progress.

Scheng, you are too generous. I don't think I would have anything good to say about this guy if those were my articles...and who knows, if I ever figure out SEO, they might be.

Hi Art, that blogger is plain lazy. He doesn't even check to see that the articles make sense or not after the spinning.
Most writers use article spinner to recycle their articles, but they dont this kind of automated article spinner. They subscribe to article spinner service that allows them to choose the words. In this case, the altered article still make sense. Anyway, it's not wrong to change our articles.
It's plain stealing to use articles by others.

I write a lot of content for other peoples' blogs and websites, that's how I make money. But using an article spinner is just wrong and immoral. It's stealing, plain and simple! I wrote a series that I knew would have the article spinner used on it but that was my work, I wasn't stealing from someone else.
Let someone know about this person, maybe the management at AC. Could they do anything?

Hi Dragon, article spinner is a software, that's why the result is so ridiculous. If that blogger subscribes to Private Label Rights articles, and amend the articles or use article spinner for the articles, then that's probably still acceptable.
But the fact is that he chooses to steal the content from AC. Someone brings out the matter in the forum in AC. At the rate that this blogger posts, he steals about seven or eight articles a day from AC.
I think the writers and AC management are going to complain to Wordpress, and close down the site.

I feel anger at those who has done that to you. I too am with Associated Content. Sure hope they don't disfigure my articles. The only reason I can think of is not so much about "fun" as you mentioned but more of monetary gain. I am also with a paid-reviews post and in there, the admin detected one of the top and most popular reviewer was actually cheating and terminated her account. She submitted hundreds of other people's reviews by altering some wordings and sentences and resubmitted as her own. She has made a lot of money and voted top reviewer, not until she was caught. I think that's what happened to you.

Distorted few words to make a new article in no time? Whoever have done this should learn a hard lesson. It takes several hours to craft a good article and the culprits take advantage of others effort.

Hi Nishdan, it's very painful to see that distorted article. I had gone to the library to borrow a few books for research to write this series of articles.
It takes probably less than a minute to use an article spinner. Some of the article spinners can change thirty percent of the words.
The only way to stop this kind of nonsense is for all the search engines to combat stupid spinning process.

That is horrible that they plagarized your articles. I would report them if possible to the blog site that they are using. I would try to get the blog shut down because it isnt right if they are earning money from a blog that they arent even writing thier own thoughts on. I really hate when people take other peoples work and try to pass it on as thier own. It really sucks that he or she had to resort to stealing.

Hi Oscar6, the problem of plagiarism will never end.
I think there are many lazy bloggers who subscribe to those auto blogging software, without knowing that the software just spin the original articles in Associated Content or elsewhere.
The problem is that you may not even recognize your own content.
The only exception is when you are writing about your pet, and your pet has very unique name!

That's so messed up! It's just ridiculous that someone can be so low down! It really makes me mad that someone can do this to another persons hard work and actually get away with it. Does his Blog have any contact information where maybe he can be reached and stopped? Or is there any way to report his Blog and have it deleted or something? There's got to be something that can be done to stop this person from doing this...

Hi Blessed4life, it's part and parcel of writing articles.
I hate plagiarism. I hate this kind of distortion. Even though I'm just six months into writings, I have my fair share of bad experience.
Strictly speaking, this kind of article distortion is not plagiarism. Since the words are changed substantially, it's not really plagiarism.
Some writers do not care about this kind of badly spinned articles, since readers will not want to read the articles.
I think AC and other writers are taking steps to take the blog down.

That is just insane! Why even do something like this when the end result is pure gibberish? It makes absolutely no sense. Did you report the offender?

Hi Canellita, someone notices her articles are spinned badly, and she brings it out in the forum in AC.
That blogger apparently spin six to seven AC articles a day, and post it in his blog. Strictly speaking, that is not plagiarism, but it's still stealing. I think AC is doing something about it, some articles are exclusive rights.

The person spinning the articles must know that the new articles make no sense. What is his purpose when he can not possibly be making any money from them?

They need some brilliant math geek to make up some software program with a unique algorithm to catch the content.
