Do you always add tags after starting or responding to a discussion?

i didn't really want to before coz it kinda slow me down but then after the myLot email about tagging i had to

It isn't necessary but I tag very often. Not only my own discussions but also those of others. It's a good habit to keep mylot tidy by tagging up turf.

Yes, I like to make tags when ever i start a discussion or respond to a discussion because i want people to let them see my view or help them trace the discussion through research.you can skip tags if you don't want to tag but make sure you don't abuse it because the site has strict rules about tagging

I try to tag on both my discussions and ones I am responging to. I think it definetly helps.

I think tagging a discussion is optional. But I do tag my discussions considering that tagging would somehow help the responses. Discussions have a better chance of getting displayed when they are tagged appropriately. This is usually and advantage if we do tag them.

Yes i always tag to all my posts and comments as it is essential and helps a person easily because whenever a person searches for something. The tags and the searched words if they are linked then you discussion also will be listed to the searcher. In this way it helps the person to get the details about what he is searching.

I think tagging is necessary both when you response and also post a discussion. Initially even i did not know about it and used to respond to the discussions skipping the tags. But recently i received alerts from Mylot stating that i should tag all the discussion whether i respond or start a new one. So start tagging if you are skipping them. Happy mylotting.

in beginning i dont use to add tags but mylot has now starting to send email if u dont add tag so its better if u add tag
