Are you comfortable using the touch pad in a laptop?

I like to use the touch pad because there is less clutter (even with a wireless mouse, I still have to find room to use it)
I just set the pointer speed very high so that it takes less time and finger passes to move across the screen :P

in reality i found comfortable using the touchpad too as mouse as well!!I did not find some important difference between them and so touchpad i think it is a good solution when you have a laptop and so you are out from your home and computer desktop where normally you have to use your mouse!!

I do not use a laptop. I use my friends when i go to his house. I am friendly with touch pad. As it very sensitive and navigates properly. Below to the right site bottom it displays a small icon amount the touch pad. I can use it easily.

I prefer a mouse over the touchpad. I find tha tthe tochpad is awkward to use, and it doesn't always go where I want it to, as it takes to long to get the curser where I want it. I have always used a mouse with all the computers I have had, so I am just use to the mouse. I suppose I could get used to the touchpad, but for now, I will juse the mouse. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

I have a touchpad on my MacBook and love it. At first I missed the mouse but the touchpad is so much more efficient

Hello,
Yea for me I kind of get annoyed with it because it is so hard to actually handle. As soon as I bought my laptop, I straight away bought a mouse at the same time. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

It depends.
When I am not going to use the laptop much, I use the touchpad.
But if I am going to do much work on it, I attach the mouse because I navigate faster and get more range with the mouse than with the touchpad.
Have a good day!

The problem is, we are addicted to the mouse over the years and it is very very difficult to get rid of this.
It took time for me to get used to the touch pad but I do manage to use it. But anyday, I prefer the mouse over touch pad.
You just can't get over the comfort factor while using mouse.

Yes I also prefer a mouse not only a mouse but a full sized one and not the normal mini-desktop mouse.

I own a pc but when I use my sister's laptop I get very frustrated. I'm used to the amount of control a mouse offers. If I were to buy a laptop I would get a mouse for it as well.
