Associated Content is a good site. There is no referral system, so i'm not suggesting it just for you to use me as a referral. I started using it in college and they pay $2-20 for an article...but usually about $5. For every 1000 page views you get $1.50. You can write about almost anything. I've made maybe $100-150 on that site.

the way I make my money is through affiliate marketing its not difficult but does require drive and motivation as with any decent money making systems it is also a medium term goal as took me 5 years to get to a level where I make money doing nothing and dont have to go to work.
