Can everyone be honest always?

Honesty is the best policy...but how difficult is it to be honest...can anyone be honest all the time...I doubt it...I have tried to e honest at least to my friends but by circumstances and situations I fail to be honest in order to hurt others feelings...How could honesty be the best policy when it hurts me and my friends

When it comes to my friends, it is honesty all the way. If you can't be honest to your friends then who can you be honest with. True friends will accept your honesty. Let say that they have a new haircut, and it really looks bad on them. Would tell them that? Yes you should tell them. I would rather tell them than to have someone not as close to tell them. If I can't be honest then I won't say anything. I just pass the question. Friends need to be honest with each other.
