My parents always states the importance of drinking water. It can cleanse all the toxic in our body through the "dumping", makes the metabolism process easier and some scientists also said it can rejuvenate your skin. I always try to drink 8 glass of water everyday, starts with 2 glasses in the morning, about 5 times in the office and 3 glasses during the night. I think the water has a really good effect, it really makes my body healthier than all those sodas, coffee, and even herbal tea, which some people said also good for your body. With God only knows what people put into our food and drinks, drinking water is the safest way to cleanse up your body. I know that there are some people who just don't like to drink water. My boss for example. I never seen him drink water! He only drink coffee and cola, plus he smokes, so I think it is really a bad combination for our body. So how about myLotters? Any kind of positive experience on drinking water for your health?

Many people prefer coffee and even addicted to it. I met many person who should drink at least one cup on a day, if not they will get dizzy or not energized to do something. Eating fruits is also good, but make sure if you drink juice, it does not mix with any unhealthy chemical things. Also, if possible, if you want to use sweetener, use non-fat or low calories sugar or the organic one. It is more expensive, and maybe you won't feel it now, but it will have impact in the future when our metabolism no longer as good as it was. Thanks for the response.

Hi, thanks for mentioning that sugar alternative, I had to go and look its name up.
It is called Stevia, it is a smallish plant, and the leaves are ground up and used as suger, a lot of plant shops can get it these days.
I need to make a list of the wonderful food plants I recently discovered.

Oh I don't know the name:) thanks for the info. What I am referring to is sugar like Tropicana Slim. I don't know if that brand exist in your country but it is made from corn if I'm not mistaken. Also, here we have red sugar, it's also healthier since it's made directly from the plant so it does not contain any kind of preserve chemical that the companies usually have in their product.

Yes, especially if after doing sports which generates sweat and lose a lot of energy, we must drink a lot of water to replace the water inside our body. Maybe you can drink some Gatorade or Pocari Sweat, but I am sure although it's useful, it's not as good as mineral water. Thirsty is because dehydration, don't let your body suffer this, cause it makes the germs and virus easily infiltrate your body, which made our body easily suffer an ill. Thanks for the response!

Well, I didn't used to be a water drinker, but when I started on my quest to get rid of my extra weight, I became a water drinker. I started drinking at least 100 oz of water a day. It makes me feel better, I don't feel like munching on junk food nearly as often and I've been able to lose weight.
I do drink soda some of the time, it is an addiction that I've found impossible to break, but easy to cut down on. The only problem that I've ever experienced with water is that if I don't filter it before I drink it, it has a cholorine type of taste to it, so all of the water that I drink goes through my filter pitcher.

Hello dorannwin, many people is addicted to soda, I think it is a habit from childhood that we must eliminate. Drinking soda, no matter if they say zero calories or diet coke, it's all still soda and does not do anything positive to our body. It's good for you to start drinking less of it and start drinking water. In my country, I always drink bottled water since the tap water is not clean here. If I want to drink tap water, I must boil them until 100 degrees Celcius. It surely help our detoxification process, so kudos for you has lose weight since drinking more water. Keep up the good work, thanks for the response!

I do not drink enough water. My problem, soda. I drink more soda than water per day. Beginning now I am going to make a conscious effort to drink more water and of course less soda. Worse part is that its the dark sodas which I really crave.
Well thanks for this post.
