Collections and collectors

An old script, possibly Tibetan from the 1800s - I am yet to find out the exact details of these scripts.
They will be on my website at www.vk3ukf.com

Hiya folks,I was wondering what makes your hoarding nerve tickle. I've got a few different nerves that twinge every now and then. It all started way, way back, when I was just a lad. Got an interest in rocks and crystals. Nice shiny things, coins, banknotes, meteorites, swap cards, comic books aniquities, spear heads and roman pottery, stamps, phonecards, electronics (yes they have history too), photography and cameras (I enjoyed the B+W film), minerals and crystals, chemistry (basic to too mathy), computers, old stories and history, ancient thingies to hold and ponder, astronomy ans spaceflight really tickle my fancy, what's out there to find? I would forget half the things I have a few of just because they appeal to me. But the ones I mentioned, I have or have had an interest in. Ages ago, I saw a TV show that showed some folks eclectic (ah hem) collections. I was wondering if any mylotters have the you beaut collection of....... Die cast toys. Handbags. Buttons. Ancestor objects. Whatever, I don't have or haven't looked at or thought of. :-)

Hi there. Ive collected a few things over the years. I use to ba huge collector of TY Beanie Babies...boy what a fad they were. I actually just got rid of my 100+ collection of them this year. Its funny how much money can go into them and how much you end up with when you get out of the hobby. However I am a big WWE fan and collect alot of Wrestling memorbilia such as old magazines, posters, dvds and other such things. I also had a cat collection a few years back I had cat collectibles and stuffed toys that were cats. I probably had 3 hundred cat items. My sister collects Santas. She has a room filled with just Santa items like porcelien and plush figures. She will be starting to fill a second room soon Im sure. Well when you like something might as well collect it if that keeps you happy.

I'm an absolute sucker for trading cards, even though im 30 years old If i see a new set of trasding cards or customisable card game out im hooked. I have folder upon folder of trading cards Lord of the rings star trek, Torchwood to name a few. My 4 year old son seems to have picked up the bug too as he collects sticker albums and ben 10 trading cards. I just buy them for him now and help him sort his collection out. I swear im reliving my childhood lol.

One of the discoveries of life I think, we never grow up, just get old. Ha ha. I also have a box of the Star Trek cards aomewhere, from about early 1990s. I still have a couple from when I was at school, Movie Monsters tading cards. And what kid doesn't like stickers. The best stickers are the fluro or glow in the dark ones, oh yeah.
