Are You Updating Your Discussions

This would mean either your New discussions you have recently started here, or maybe even your older ones with little or No responses? I know many of us have a lot of discussions we have started here. The object is for people to come and post back to them, and then we need to respond back to keep them going in hopes of getting more responses back as well.
But do we do it? Or have you forgot, or fallen way behind like I have and somehow trying to get caught up as you can as well. It does make it interesting and Sad to see when you're as behind as I am to see friends on their who have since left and it makes you often just want to still wish them the best.
So if you are behind like me, it does take time but worth trying to resolve all of the discussions you have. You never know what you might learn from others while doing this as well.
Wishing you all the Best.

I update my unresolved discussions a little at a time. I have not started any new ones, because I do not have enough time to do so. As for the discussions that already have best responses to, the only time I get to them is on Sunday and that is because I am not writing my novel on that day. I really should type faster and get these things done much slower, but I have to make sure I do not make any typing errors.

Hi suspenseful! I have not worked on my unresolved discussions yet. Well I did some but that was 2 weeks ago and there are still a lot to be resolved. But thanks for giving me the idea not to start a new discussion yet at least until I have half the number of my discussions resolved. Hope I can manage not to start a new one again, cause right now I am thinking of chicken to share.
Ciao!

I'm always behind, and I spent some time last fall, when I was off after my surgery, getting caught up, but I like to leave them unresolved for a while to get all the responses I can get - AND, as Pyewacket has discovered, its a way to keep old discussions from going into the new black hole mylot has created... so I may not resolve any more...

You are totally right. I'm gonna post a discussion about what would be the best way to recover from my coke addiction.

I have been so far behind on everything here on mylot that sometimes I will delete everything in my inbox. I don't like to do that and often feel bad afterwards but I have goals that I put in my head and then get distracted, or need to get offline to either go to the store, or if it's my fiance's day off... that I just can't catch up. Today I hope to get all 175 in my email resolved. It was worse before! I've worked on it today and yesterday... Sometimes it's been 200 and something.
I have another email address that I am sure has well over 1000!

hello friend,
I get alerts through e mail whenever there's a new response to my discussion or whenever there's a new comment to my response.I try to keep updating all my discussions whenever possible.I do fall back at times because of the lack of time. There are times when I am hardly able to log in here due to college work but still, I've been doing pretty well in the six months or so that I've spent here.

Hi! I'm fairly new to all this, but I'm trying to keep up with my discussions. I don't want to get overwhelmed and am starting slow. It's been fun!

Hello Tina. I come back to check out the responses to my discussions. Although I don't catch them all I do get to most of them. I appreciate every response that is left to a discussion I have started. They my spirits higher. What I am finding most difficult is deciding best response.

I do try to update as often as possible. I do not start too many discussions, so I do not get very far behind. I am a little bit right now, but I am also wanting to get experienced at some other types of earning and writing online.

I am very behind on one of mine but the others are almost all up to date. I don't start many at all but the older ones keep coming back to life.
I awarded some BRs a couple of days ago on some really old ones - and then they even received some more replies so tomorrow all I shall do is catch up - promise!

I try, Tina, but it's an awfully daunting task! Spring and Summer are my busiest time outdoors with my gardening so I've fallen way behind. I can't even get to half of the email notifications of new discussions from my friend's list. I do usually get to the emails that notify me of a response to my discussions or responses to comments of mine to others' discussions but, even then, there are some days that I'm just too busy to even log in, like yesterday. Yesterday, it was "take curtains down and wash them" day, plus I had some shopping to do, gardening (well, harvesting, actually), plus I had to spend some time with my husband, dogs and kitty.
So, since I woke up early, as usual, I thought I'd get in here and do what I can do before I fall back to sleep.
I fully agree with you about never knowing what you may learn from others! I've learned so much since I joined here last year. That's one major reason I keep coming back. Learning is a hobby of mine and myLot has proven itself as an excellent place to learn new things or see old things in a new light or from a different perspective. Understanding the way people work has always fascinated me as well and myLot definitely gives me a lot to think about.
It's just that I've finally been able to balance real life from my life here. When I first joined, I know I spent way too much time here. I felt like a kid in a candy shop! LOL But, as time went by, I think I've hit on the perfect balance, for me, anyway.
Still wishing you the best on a smooth and problem-free move to your new home!

Hi there Krause!
I try my best to comment back on my discussions. But I admit, there are still a lot that I have not commented but that was from my old, really old discussions. Unlike my recent discussions, I have update them though I have not chosen my best response.
I also find an advantage updating my discussions. Responses I receive are really good and I get good advices too. And that's one thing I so like about mylot, I get good advices!
Ciao!

Every day when I log on myLot website I always have a look at the discussion I have started and to know if I got new answer or I need to do some reply. I do feel it’s very enjoyable to continue the discussion with the repliers. I think the more we talk about a particular topic the more idea we can get and the more we can learn. I think it’s the meaning to get people to talk or discuss with you on a particular topic.
Happy Mylotting.

Yes, I am right now updating all of my discussions and responding to my friends' discussions; I always like to update my discussions, make sure, I reply back to the responders so I won't be too too busy when I log in next time so I can post responses to other mylotters' discussions as well.(Nice to receive amounts of responses though :-))
