Movies are great but imagine a movie without the music. Sometimes a song from a movie is so good you only have to hear it and instantly you think of the movie it's from. There are so many to name but here are a few.
Unchained Melody- Ghost
Take My Breath Away- Top Gun
Time Of Our Life- Dirty dancing
Would ghostbusters have been so good without that catchy theme tune from Ray Parker Jr?
So whats your most meomrable song and what movie is it from?

Well this may be a very unusual choice but it would have to be "Pelagia's Song" from Captain Corelli's Mandolin. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard and when played just on the mandolin it radiates warmth.
This is closely followed by "intermezzo" which features in The Godfather Part III. The movie may not be great but that piece of music is masterful and makes the closing scene so powerful.

Scarface definitely has some good music in between all the swearing, lol. From memory the ones which stick in my mind are "Rush Rush" byt the gorgeous Debbie Harry, "Vamos a Baila" and of couse "Tony's theme".

No offence taken Thea, it's one of the benefits of not being a huge book reader as I never have to compare a screen adaptation to the novel.
