Do Children seem to spend a lot of time playing video games. My son has a playstation 3 or ps3 i guess and he loves to play games.I try to make sure that he does some education stuff to such as read books and do math problem. How can you stop kids from playing a lot of video games?

You can try to get him interested in different things, like sports or some kind of hobby. If not, then maybe striking a deal with him is your best bet. Perhaps something like: x number of hours of educational stuff = x number of hours of video games If he really doesn't want to do reading or math (I'm assuming this is extra stuff aside from homework), then maybe ask him to do a certain amount of chores around the house.

I agree children today play too much video game. Children are not as active as we were. There is too many tecnology going on today. It is making the children lazy. The same games that they are playing should be played outside with their friends. Then again the video games today are too violent. I think you should stress free play.It will make them smarter. Video games only teach you hand eye cordination you and get that playing other games or putting a puzzle together.
