Love Aaj Kal (Love now and then) Released July 31,2009 in India Directed by Imtiaz Ali Featuring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone The film portrays the feeling of pure love which never changes over time, although the perspective of realizing one's true love has changed over time. Jai and Meera are a modern day couple in London. They are very happy together, but don't believe in tying each other down. So, they just go with the flow when their lives pull them in different directions. The movie flashbacks to Veer Singh and Harleen meeting. He travels 1000 km by train to stand under her balcony just to have a glimpse of her. Veer doesn't understand how Jai can treat matters of such passion without concern. Jai doesn't understand how Veer could be so naive and silly over Harleen so many years before. As both stories unfold, the process of getting together may be different from different eras, but BEING IN LOVE REMAINS THE SAME.... If you haven't seen this movie. It is definately a must see film.
