In my country,India,it is very important to do so.Here, the mosquito is a huge problem.
It carries very harmful diseases like malaria, chikungunia.
Even in the evening,we use mosquito repellents to prevent them from getting in the house..
I really hate these insects....
So,what do you do?

I live in California, and don't really have that kind of problem. The worst that has happened to me is a swarm of fruit flies, or once, a mommy fly landed in my garbage and planted babies. When I took the garbage out, little maggots crawled all over me.
It was the scariest moment of my life.

Oh, it was scarey! Imagine back in the olden days when people used maggots to eat an infection off a wound. Shudder!

There isn't a lot of mosquitoes here in my country. They only come out after dark and by then, everyone has retreated back to the house.

we usually don't have an indoor problem.as long as the window screens are good, they stay out.in the yard is a whole other matter.you have to put spray on,or they'll bite you all over.it's been really bad this year as we're had way too much rain.

During my childhood we are using mosguito net since we are living in a very remote area and also near at the mountain side, we do use it because there are many mosquitoes during that time, but now we grow older and we live in a city we don't use mosquito net because our house are screened so no need to use mosquito net.
Yes we need to be very careful since dengue disease is very alive now a days, thats why if you don't have screen in your door and windows better to use mosquito net or lotion to protect you from the bite of mosquitoes to avoid dengue disease.

yeah i have the same problem. keeping my mosquito net close is an important thing i need to do before sleep. if there is a little hole in it, mosquito will kill me and ruin my whole night. i hate them too but have no idea except mosquito net. sometimes i use electricity to kill those boring stuff but that is not very effective. Tons of will come back again....

Well I also do not like mosquitoes, but I do not use mosquito net as I feel suffocated in them, I use allout, mosquito coils to keep the mosquitoes away. It is really wise to save yourself from mosquito bites because it also causes filaria apart from the two diseases you have mentioned.

ya its not a big problem in colorado (U.S.) where i live so i do not use a net at night. when i do get a mosquito bite it is usually not a big deal. but if i lived in a place where the mosquitoes were known to carry diseases, i most definitely would use a net at night.

yes, I sleep with a mosquito net. I have a big bed and so my mosquito net is big and very high and very soft. I don't use mosquito coils because it hurts my nose. I don't like to use window screen because it's hot and humid and I don't like to use electric either. So I'm sticking with mosquito nets and have grown up with it.
