My dog snores when she sleeps and it sounds like something is caught in her throat when she does. Is this normal?

I don't know if that's normal or not but I have seen dogs do the weirdest things in their sleep. My dog, she gags like something is her throat, then chases things right after that. But usually snoring is pretty normal in all animals, mostly after eating or drinking to much.

Every dog I've ever had has snored. I guess that indicates it's fairly normal.

Totally normal. Dogs snore and have dreams just like we do. When I sleep over at my aunt's house, her little dog would crawl under my bed and sleep there and snore. It sounded like something was caught in her throat too but she was just sleeping peacefully.
