My dog bubbles has not been her bubbly self. This morning as we serve her breakfast we are surprise that she is not interested in it. And then we notice this fluid discharge we first thought as urine but upon further investigation, it is actually her stool. My husband is the one who observed him closely because I have to work. But he would frequently call and update me of our bubbles condition. We called a vet friend and she advice we buy an anti-bacterial medication for our dog. We gave her her first dose. But I was worried because she has not taken any food since yesterday. What would be the best food for her?

The white rice and chicken is what I heard too. I've also heard that canned pumpkin is a good alternative. This happened to our dog when we first got her and she wouldn't eat and when she did she was throwing up as well as having diarrhea. We took her to the vet who told us her intestinal flora was "off" and needed medication as well as specific dog food to help her get over it.
In the end I never tried the white rice, chicken or pumpkin because my dog wouldn't even go near the food so I had no other options.
The medicine and food the vet recommended helped and we have not had another incident since.
One thing we were told was to prevent our dog from drinking out of puddles or areas with standing water. Anything off the street that can be consumed has to be looked at to.
Hope this helps

Thanks javdee, the water information is new to me. Our dogs are never out of the house but there is an area that gathers water especially on rainy days and I guess that is one example of what you are saying. I'll watch that more closely now. Blessings!
