There is Still Alot of Time Before December 21, 2012!

Reading your post definitely made me let out a certifiable giggle!

Decenmer 21, 2012 is going to be my BIRTHDAY! And I will be giving a Huge Birthday Party to the entire world. I think that is what is going to be the biggest event of the Millenium. He he. Dont worry, be happy.

Saw a bit on this on Fox. Interesting, but not necessarily convincing. My main reaction to this is... why does it have to be Dec 21? That's my only anniversary date (first date, husband's proposal, and wedding). Obviously I am one with the Mayans, lol.

Christmas is the most wonderful time and December is my most cherished month. I love each day of December, how I wish my love for christmastime will continuously stay beyond 2012. If it's God's will, however we can't do anything but trust in Him as been said everything happened according to his plan.

In the years prior to the year 2000, there were so many people predicting that the world would come to an end at that time. The same thing happened at the year 1000. I don't think that anything incredible is going to happen in 2012. I think people will still be around to fear the world coming to an end at the year 3000. I agree with gypsy dad. There is going to be some giggling going on, except for those who believe that even though it did not happen in 2012, it will still happen sometime. How many people have come and gone without seeing these predictions come true?

Dude I thought I was the only one that constantly thought about that. Or even thought about it at all. LOL! Anyway who knows whats going to happen, I've seen so many videos on youtube that respond to 2012, the warnings, prophicies, etc... But what I personally think is going to happen is quite interesting. I believe in the enlightenment part, we will become better, something to that liking atleast...Something to hope for, but until then I will keep on living my life until that dreaded day to some.

I think when people start picking days for the world to end they need to remember that we are not the ones who do that. I don't think God likes to be told when he is supposed to end the world. We control a lot of things that happen in this life but we can't control when the world stops.

The only thing I am aware of for 2012 is it will be a normal peak in the 11 year solar activity cycle, no different than it is every 11 years. There is a lot of nonsense floating around about this particular year and just about all of it is absolute nonsense that has no scientific basis. We aren't crossing the "glactic plane", by most estimates, this happens every 70 million years or so and happened about 27 million years ago, though because of the way the earths axis shifts slowly, it will apear from our view point at earth we have, but again, we really aren't. I saw someone in here say that some planets already are starting to, this is not at all possible, because in order for that to be true, the planets would have to have left their orbits and gone off on their own and last I looked, they were all still right where they should be. I have also heard alot about "planet X" or Nibiru". Again, complete nonsense, no such planet exists, if it did, every amature astronomer in the southern hemisphere (where it is suposed to become visible) would have spotted it, and we would not have the planetary orbits we have observed for the other planets for the last thousand years. Pole shifting....again...silly. Magnetic poles do shift and reverse from time to time, but this is a gradual process and has happened a number of times since humans have inhabited the earth. the physical poles DO NOT shift, it is physicly impossible and such an event would release such energy it would liquify the planets surface, if this had ever happened in the past, we would not be here right now having this conversation. So, on december 21, 2012, go about your daily business as usual, we will still probably be here on december 22.

no one knows for certain when it will be. i mean, since last decade a lot of prechers? have been saying that the world will end. no one knows when it really is. what you need to know is if youre ready to meet God at that time. so dont listen to this 2012 thing. only the Lord knows

are they actually saying that the world will come to an end on December 12 2012 or what? that could probably come true because everything is happening faster these days, every passing day, new diseases and new bad and evil things are happening and only God can explain

Hey dude, don't think too much about 2012, try to enjoy each and every moment of your life in this beautiful world. Never worry about 2012. I too don't pay attention to it.
