Reasons that makes people to leave their dog?

Where i grew up there was a lot of dogs around and they make great companions. But the misbehaving dogs, they tended to be a little dangerous, especially the one over 50 lbs. There was sayings back then about "Taking the dog for a ride in the bush" or "Taking the dog to the back of the shed". You heard these kind of comments especially after a dog bit a person.

I really cant understand why people want a dog, they have it, and then they leave the dog live by themselves. I think that is not right! If i ever have a dog, i will keep it as long as i can. I know one of my friend, she loves dog so much, but she is getting ready to have a baby, so she has to leave her dog to her other friends, but she still visit the dog once in a while.

I have unfortunately found a dog that was cold, wet and scared that had been dumped by its owner. I don't know why or how someone could do this. Maybe they can justify it in their mind somehow. So many people rush in to getting a dog and dont realise that they do require a lot of time and can at times be expensive. My partner and I are looking to get a dog but are making sure that the dog can be properly looked after. It will certainly be loved thats for sure! I imagine dogs are dumped because either people can no longer afford them or they become problem dogs. In this country we have so many rescue centres and rescue homes that dumping a dog in the street is such unnecessary. It does upset me and I hope that people that do this have a guilty conscience. I am a huge animal lover and never understand sometimes humans disregard for animals lives.

Some people are just using their dogs for theyre own security, they really dont care about theyre dogs. Especially in asian countries...you will see dogs everywhere walking like a lost soul. Im scared of dogs, i was bitten once when i was young but i dont like when they are abused...they have a life too.
