Who is your favourite celebrity chef or food personality on TV

I personally love the way Nigella feasts cooks & guides.Her descriptions of various ingredients really make me hungry.I have all of her cookbooks & even though most of her recipes are decidedly english,they are good.And she is so voluptous and beautiful who would not want to watch her & learn to cook and her her dishes:)

Hi prabhalini, I miss seeing Nigella, when I was in the UK I loved her cooking shows and like you have the cook books. Her style is so informal it suits me, she's not preparing elaborate dinner parties but food to enjoy with friends and she has a wonderful personality to watch. I was also a fan or John Diamond's writing too. I would disagree with you that her recipes are English though, she has a lot of influence from Jewish and Italian styles, as well as the Middle East.

I have a few favorites and not just one: from Nigella yes, to Giada to the Barefoot Contessa. What I really like about Giada's recipes is that there aren't often a lot of ingredients, which makes it easier I find.

YES!! I looovvee Nigella too!! I am sooo in love with her kitchen!! It's beaaauutiful. And yes, she really is good.. yes, the way she cooks as well, is really wow.. and the way she decribes things when she puts it in.. wow..

There are so many of these celebrity chefs and cooking programs. They have become so popular in recent years. We even have the food channel now on satellitle tv so we can watch recips and cooking 24/7!
I do like Nigella and her English/Italian style of cooking. She seems to make the food seem so sexy! The fact that she obviously enjoys her food and doesnt woeey about the calorie content too much is appealing.
The most entertaining chef is Gordon Ramsey. He is a bit of an idioit but his shows make for good viewing. I love Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares. He just tears them apart. I also love watching Masterchef, it is great to see every day people cook to a high standard. Keep threatening/promising to apply one day!
