There are many cases when a man starts with a woman through friendship and then his friendship transform into love and finally they get married. I had been trying to dwell into the fact to analyze what would keep a relationship between a man and a woman a plain friendship, no love whatsoever.

I've had friends who are guys my whole life. I get along better with men than with women I guess. A few have fallen for me, but I still have several really close friends who are always going to be just friends. They are like brothers to me.

I believe so. I have two guy friends that I am very close to and I consider them to be like my brothers and they both call me lil sis and so they don't even see me in a romantic light. I have seen this happen in other cases too so yes I do believe that it is possible for a man and a woman to maintain a platonic friendship.

you are right. I believe in some cases the relationship remains as plain friendship and in few cases it can turn out to be a love. It probably depends upon the circumstances as well. for instance, if two opposite persons are already in love with someone else, then they can be just friends because they may not require to fall in love.

Oh very philosophical topic.Mainly man and women are like +ve and -ve bars on the earth. But i don't mean that normal friendship is not possible. But when they become friends they will find and like many good qualities of each other and as a result they will come closer.

Why not? It can happen. If friendship is what you really want with the woman, then just be friends. Though there are really times one fall with the other, but i think that is only because of the closeness they get to be.
