What do you prefer when traveling? By plane, by boat, by bus, or own vehicle?

Most of all I love to travel by train. I like to look out of the window in the daytime and in the night time I enjoy sleeping in a comfortable compartment. I have traveled on trains in Europe, in the USA, in Malaysia, in Australia and in New Zealand. I appreciate traveling by plane because it is the most practical way to reach faraway destinations. It is so quick to reach places that are on my travel wish list. I flew around the world when I was 20 years old. I went on a tiny plane in the Maldives and saw the reef plus the islands on the way to Gan.

i like riding a big bus ,one w/c is comfortable enough for a long ride. i look forward to riding a n airplane soon so i m still yet to know the feel of it. i like riding a big boat ! i don't know how to swim,being on a boat makes me feel superior and in control of the waters.i like seeing the fishes leaping and swimming in group.most of all, i like the scenic views i see as i travel.

I love riding boats too but you are talking about traveling to another countries, air plane will be the first option to me although I don't like plane rides at all... I like to be quick to go to wherever I want to go so plane is the fastest way. But when it comes to go to places that is close, traveling in a private car is probably the comfortable way because it is private not like a public bus.

I love planes, my favourite bit is when it takes off. The lift! Or helicopters, they are fun! Otherwise I prefer my own car any day. I like to do stuff on my own time and if I feel like a detour I can do it. I also own a little 5-spd convertible which is s areal pleasure to dirve so yeah, I really like driving myself.

I prefer plane when traveling because I can reach my destination faster. Moreover, I can only use plane to travel to far places from East to West or from West to East. But because of recent plane crashes, I started not traveling much but in the future, still, I need to travel by plane to visit friends from other countries. I traveled by boat but I really do not like because I easily get headache. I am used to traveling by bus because it is cheaper. I can stay long hours of traveling as long as there are many stop overs between cities. I do not have my own car and I cannot answer that. Thank you for sharing this. Have a nice day. Keep posting. I like the best when I am driving the car along a long empty road, having trees on both sides. Light music should be there. That's it. I do not like travelling by planes. Ok like you even I was thrilled when I went on it for the first time but not I kind of get bored even if it is a short journey.

hi beaushell!^^ for long travels, i would prefer to travel by plane because it's faster and more comfortable. but it's also more expensive so i don't prefer it. ^^;; it's good to travel by land because it's cheaper and i think it's safer. but i prefer to travel also in water because i like it when the ship moves. it always feels like you're being cradled by nice arms and being rocked and put into sleep. ^^ it's always nice to sleep in boats and ships. especially in a very cozy room. and then it's good to hang out in the common where there's tv and you can meet lots of different people. and it's enjoyable to go out at night in the top deck and watch the stars. ^^

I like traveling by plane. I love preparing and packing my belongings and know that both of us will be flying over the ocean to a new destination. When I go on vacation overseas, my favorite part is the plane ride. The feeling when you're in the middle of the air is great.

Well, it depends on my travel. There are times when I travel by plane. Most especially when I am on a tight schedule and is in a hurry. At times, I also take the boat. One good reason to take the boat is the price. Its much more cheaper as compared to plane. The only disadvantage is the travel time. There are also places that I can bring my car. In our country, there are barges that travel from island to island where you can bring your vehicle. Yes, I also love it considering that you get to drive and decide where to go as well as where to stop. Really awesome.

If I choose one transport I don’t like it would be airplane. I really don’t like fly. Sometimes I feel nervous and scared when I take airplane. I also not fancy of water way. I feel surprised here in the UK so many people enjoy boat trip. My favourite is that I drive my own car then I go anywhere I want at anytime.

I enjoy travelling and I do not mind what mode of transport I am using. I love travelling by car because you can stop wherever you want and take detour into places you suddenly find interesting. I love Public buses, because here you are spared of stress of driving and go to sleep or just enjoy the ride. I love Train Journey the most, because here you not only have to worry about driving, et al but also have a good opportunity to unwind by relaxing, sleep if you want to, talk to co-passengers. I have had any Long journey by Boat, max 1 hour is what I have been, so I can't really comment on Boat Journey. Regarding Air Travel, I used to love them when our Bangalore Airport was nearer, but the New Airport is so far away, just the distance makes me feel tired. But travelling by plane saves you time but cuts your pocket deep, very deep.

It depends on what I am travelling for! If I have only a limited time at my destination and it is a long distance fromm me, then I prefer to fly and I really enjoy doing that! But if I have the time, my ideal way to travel is behind the wheel in my own car. I love a road trip! You get to experience the countryside and see many more things than you would if you flew to the destination! You also have the convenience of your own car to get around in at the destination. To me, getting there is half the fun of a trip and I like the random stops at anything that looks interesting along the way! :-)

While I enjoy getting everywhere very fast and therefore choose airplane most of the time , I also enjoy road trips by Car, my daughter and I traveled from California to North Carolina by car and we had a blast. I loved the site seeing so much that I prefer traveling by car if its to a place I have not been before. And while I enjoy the airplane, I don't like hours and hours of traveling that way. The worst plane ride for me is from USA to Germany, if the flight is straight through, it take 10-11 hours just flight time.I made that trip enough to NOT WANT to go again!

I would have to say it depends where I am going. If I want to go somewhere quickly I would have to say the plane. If I want to get a scenic root I would take a car or train. My most favorite way to travel if I can would be boat. I love the open sea and water in general. Water is very calming and relaxing. Relaxing on a boat would be the best way to travel for me. Enjoy takeing your plane I will meet on the other side of the world.

I prefer to travel by plane. As I can't have so many days off from work. So I can't spend my time on the way. The plane is the soonest way for me to arrive at the destination. Perhaps one day when I have enough free time from work, I'd like to have a cruise trip. It must be relaxing. I love China

It actually depends. As long as i get into the destination quickly and cheaply.

Boats are nice, planes are fast, bus is awkward, just give me my own! I'm actually afraid of planes, it's the height thing! I like boats, but can't swim neither, sometimes I even get sick so I haven't been on a boat in awhile, though I plan on going on a cruise soon! I've ridden plenty of buses, maybe never again, too cramped and long! I'll do the train, I actually enjoyed that, and my own vehicle is the way to go in my opinion! Taripre$

It will depend on where I am going...and if I am alone or with my friends and family..and also how much time I have....Usually when I travel with my friends or family...I prefer our own vehicle...if I am alone I would travel by some public transport....

The best way to get to a destination to me is by plane if it is far away. It is comfortable and I like that it is fast! I love getting a window seat to look at the clouds and being able to see cities from air view. It can be entertaining! I do not mind riding or driving in a car with family eigther becausse it gives us time to have some fun together and we get to see different sceneries up close and personal. I just feel like it is not as comfortable as flying and it takes forever.

i have same feeling about it,i can select boats when i travel,i like to travle,because the pressure of life is very large,i hope that i can relax my feeling from the travel,so i hope that this way can give me good mood to share the surrouding,i can find what i want and share the nature.
