Hello Ke0nxz. There are many kinds of Christians. Some are "persecuted" more then others, even by other Christians. Many people face ridicule because of their, religious, political, lifestyle, clothing style, breathing, choices. And even sometimes because of stuff they have no choice over such as, deformities, the color of their skin, what country they originate from, how tall they are. In my opinion it is best to keep the following in mind. You are PERFECT just the way you are. YOU do NOT have to change because someone else told you should. If it is right FOR YOU, then do it. YOU CHOOSE. YOUR opinion matters, not anyone elses, so long as you are not violating the rights of others. It is not the circumstance you are in, but rather the way you look upon that determines how you feel about it. Think of life as YOU want it to be, not as you DON'T want it to be, and the LORD will give it to you. You become what you think about most, I am sure it is in the Bible somewhere. Like attracts Like. Think about what you like, what makes you happy, and do not DWELL in the despair of others. I hope that helps. Cheers.

Many of us in the United States came from problems that we had in our original country with being a Christian. When my Grandmother lived in Germany, her town decided that they would only be Catholic, if you were Lutheran you could either switch to Catholic or move. That is when my grandmother and her parents and grandparents came to this country and put down roots. Many people have come to the United States, and because of persecution as Jewish people, they hid what they believed and their heritage, and in some cases did not even tell their children for fear of persecution. These things were found out much later. It really makes me sad when Christians fight among Christians or do not accept the Jewish people. I think a lot of that is slowly changing in the United States.
