The "Cash for Shacks" program will solve all our current economical problems. The government will give you 50K if you bulldoze your house. You must NOT take anything of value out. Houses must have leaky windows and little or no insulation. Houses with white siding or shingles will NOT qualify. You must be unemployed or on some government program to qualify. You must show you have almost no assets. You also must live in a congressional district that elected a far-Left LIBERAL. The government will provide a NEW HOUSE at no charge. You will also pay no property taxes for life. We can print all the money we need for this. Also all houses will be built by Union Thugs. This is just a rough draft, please feel free to help me make this bill better.

I live in a house that would definitely qualify but we elected a conservative Republican Congressman and my state Rep is Republican and so is my state senator. Guess that lets me out so I will continue to live in the shack I can't afford to do anything with - LOL

wow it sounds like the cas for clunkers deal only as a bail out for real estate agents instead of car companies.
There is no way I would buldoze my cruddy house for only 50 grand. plan on spending that on a down payment whan I do buy a house. There is also no possible way I would want to live in a house the government built. Look at everything they have messed up, I would rather live in the clunker I own and am NOT trading in, at least I know it is safe.
The cool thing is that the only thing of value that I own is a laptop, the rest of my stuff is junk in disquise so I could keep all of it. I hope that these Union Thugs also get to clean up the mess.
And like a previous poster I feel that all owners of trailer houses should qualify. I know from experiance that one can burn totaly to the ground in less than 20 minutes, and besides all that they have absolutly no resale value.

yeah, I happen to think that cash for clunckers is just another billions of dollars being poured into the auto industry to save a bunch of executives who are not smart enough to keep a business afloat. I will not buy another vehicle from a dealership until the program is no longer avalible.

I live in a far left liberal city that charges the highest property tax of the entire state. Even more than the elite rich cities across the river.
They are free to bulldoze my place, however. Probably be an upgrade.
