With fast technology that bring movies closer into our homes, do you still considering the fact of going to movie house and watch a movie?
I still do. For the sake of bonding and making a difference on my daily routine.
It is still do serve a purpose right? Unless you consider it a waste of money and precious time.
I admit, I still enjoy watching at the movie house with love ones.

Absolutely. Just like you said, for bonding and making a difference on a daily routine. It is kinda more special in a way. I always go to the movies with my wife, even though we could watch some DVD's at home, it still more exciting at the movie houses.

It's good to go to the movies just to get out the house for a little while. But I would rather stay at home and watch movies on dvds with my family. Refreshments at the movies are highly overpriced. Sometimes you have to deal with annoying people at the movies who won't shut, so I can barely pay attention to the movie on the big screen. Yes, when it comes to the movies, I like to be in a more relaxed enviroment. That way I can enjoy my company and the movie at once.

I think its a better experience to go out to the movies for a night then to stay locked up in your house for one whole day. Its also a time to bond with whoever your with.

I rarely go to the movie house these days. I think the last time I went was more than a year ago. I watched an animated movie "Wall-e" with my husband and son. But you're right though. Some may not even bother going to the movie house anymore. They can easily download a movie from the comforts of their home and their computer.
But sometimes, I still like to go. With my husband. It's nice to cuddle up (especially when the cinema is very, very cold from the huge airconditioners). Come to think of it, I can barely remember the last time the two of us went on a date and watched a movie.

My husband and I havent been to a movie theatre in quite a few months, but we love going because of the sound and the huge screen and it is time away from the kids and we can have a little "date" together, which means a lot to me. We also enjoy watching movies from home, but most of them cost just as much to rent off the television, that it does to drive to the movie theatre and pay for tickets, lol it's insane! I love both options though :)

Yes, my husband and I still go to movies once in a while. We never rent movies actually. Our children are old enough now to stay alone, so we find it very nice to get out together alone to watch a movie...or invite friends. I think it's the thrill of the loud sound, every one else laughing...the whole atmosphere that makes it spectacular.....so much better then watching it at home.

Some movies were created to be seen larger than life e.g. transformers...for the young hearts....for the mature Scar Face or the good westerns you need the sound effects of the movie theatre to truly experience the movie. Apart from that going to the -cinema- as we say is entertaining apart from the movie...there are the suggestions and advice that is given througout the movie that adds to the flavour...... now thi also means which cinema you attend....lol

I don't go to movies anymore because it's getting expensive. I used to buy DVDs too but now I totally stopped. Whenever there is a new movie on, I will just go to my laptop and download it from the internet. Usually I get to see the movies before they start showing in the cinemas. It's much easier and it cost nothing. Nowadays the quality of the downloaded movies are very good DVD copies.

We generally wait for the movies to come out on DVD or watch them on tv as going to the theaters is soooo expensive anymore. You can usually buy most new movies for $20 or less and it would cost $25+ dollars for us all to go see it in the theater.

I think watching it at the movie house is a better because of the bigger screens and gives a bigger experience of what the movie is about.

I think its a much better experience. Bigger screen, feels like your almost in a ride..Surround sound, its pitch black, and its not like an everyday thing. Also like you said, with the loved ones makes it better also, or even by yourself because nobody wants to go see the movie you want to see, no matter, its always better then at the house.

That depends on what type of movies, some of the film is only suitable for watching in the cinema, such as films about photography, cinema and at home I have seen, the difference is too great, TV (computer) screen with the film texture fundamental can not be compared.
In addition the film audol is also very important, a good soundtrack of the film, and only in the cinema in order to fully appreciate the music, the sound at home will be lowered substantially.
There are some circumstances not very strong at home and watch the film not as to the cinema to see.

Yes I absolutly like watching movies in the movie house. The feelings are different,is not the movie itself ,it also involves other wonderful experiences in contrast with watching movie in the computer or TV.From chosing the movie , buying the tickets ,waiting in the movie house ,hearing the Bell of the movie's beginning, the lights being out,the whole experience is amazing.
And also I think the movie can be more impressive as you are consentrated on it.sometimes you can experience almost the same things, emotions as the actors carry on.
