Do you thinnk video games are overpriced?

I've been playing video games for years and years now and have come to realize how the price of games has increased. Last year I paid 35 quid for a copy of call of duty 5. This year they tell me that I'll have to pay around 50 quid for the new one. I know it cost a bit to develope the games but once all the programming and technical stuff is done it costs less than a tenner per disk. and how many copies do they sell worldwide?
