My son is being baptized soon, and I need to get him a christening gown. He is my first child, so I have no idea where christening gowns are sold. Does anyone have any suggestions?

JCPenny used to sell them, but I am not sure if they still do. You may check with a catholic store in your area, a second-hand store may have a nice one, and if nothing else, look on-line. I know that my Mom bought my brother's as JCPenny, but that was years ago. Here's another idea, maybe at a bridal or tuxedo shop. Any formal wear or religious establishment may carry them. As I said before, if all else fails, look on-line.

Thanks for the suggestion! We found a really cute outfit at JCPenney. They do sell some baptism outfits in the store, and they have more online. I have also discovered that Babies 'R Us sells some online as well.

Even my son is about to be baptized. I brought just white shirt and pant for my elder son and you could find that in any baby and kid's shop.
