Did you purchase an mp4, I have one but its software is not working, what to do with this silly gadget i purchased?

That depends on what make it is. And does it come with any software converters...You should visit the company website and upgrade the firmware...And putting some more info about your player may help others understanding your player problem....

Depends where you bought it,and maybe if it's one of those popular "fruity" players! As You specify it as an Mp4 machine,I'm guessing not... If it's one of the generic players,you may be lucky and find out if the manufacturer has a website and will offer support,and maybe you then have the option of downloading a fix for the problem..in some cases,however,the maker could be so obscure as to have no virtual presence or recourse to customer service,in which case,I can only hope it was cheap,and that the experience wouldn't put you off a similar machine down the line..if you got it recently,within the last couple of weeks,you may have some luck with the place you bought it from.nothing ventured,nothing gained!
