Is 9/11 Forgotten?

Excellent topic! I for one will never ever forget 9-11 for as long as I live. Every year it is not only remembered by me...but I encourage my children the same. They don't remember it but I can't ever forget the horror and shock of seeing those images on the screen time and time again. What made it even more...odd was my former mother in law flew out to see us the night before and her ticket didn't have her going home until that Sunday...when the planes were able to fly again. So, when I picked her up from the airport, it was the last time I was ever able to cross those lines and wait for someone by the gate. We should never forget 9-11...if not for the sacrifices, loss of innocence...but for the idea that America was challenged on her own soil...and it could happen again. *Pleiades

I believe that eventually as time goes farther from it, it will slowly fade in people's memory. It is part of your history now but someday people will just read about it and would not really know what really happened on that day. it may be fresh to those that became a victim of the incident but for most people that were not affected it may just become a part of their consciousness but would not give much importance to it anymore. I think that is how human nature is.

I think 9/11 would never be forgotten. It would forever remain in history books. But, the anger must have definately subsided. Time is the best healer.

I think that everyone is going to remember what happened on that day, Even though it is not as fresh as the day it happened the anger will never go away, and it will never be forgotten.
