I have always wanted to work in an airlines company anywhere in the world... I am currently turning 24 on Feb 22 and is a college graduate student. SInce I was young I have always wanted to work as a cabin crew or a flight attendant (here we call them stewardess) unfortunately I got in to call center industry which is too far from what I wanted..Since call center pays well I was stucked here for 3years... dont get me wrong.. I like what I do... its just that I still wanted to fulfill my dreams... So I search for airlines who has open hiring and there are alot BUT... they require certain trainings such as ATO and alot more... and it cause more than my 2 months salary as a call center agent. My experience near airlines is just booking and ticketing and thats less than a year...
I tried to search for other airlines that would hire untrained individuals and just train them unfortunately I cant find any... I feel like almost crying... I feel sad because up to now I cant fulfill my dream.. If I could have someone tell me what to do to get hired and where I can train paying less but quality is still okay... I would be very thankful.. but I dont know anyone from any airline company.
How about you? do you have your dream job???

Hi...I have the same dream job as yours. I would like also to become a flight attendant. There are certain airline companies in our country which are hiring but they are so strict and so hard to get in...
I guess it will remain just a dream for me since they require you to have a clear complexion and unfortunately for me I have some visible scars...

I too have a scar but its on my tummy so I guess its not visible to people unless they see me in bikini... lol... I had a CS last 2007 and had this magic paste that I put on the left scar and it was gone after a year.. I just forgot the name of the product... but I am about to give birth to may 2nd so I am sure I am going to have another scar.. well goodluck to both of us on our dreams...

once upon a time i wanted to be a writter,or a painter or a musician, anyway a artist, the more famous the better, the more free-mind the better, but for now i just want to be someone who can create wealth for society and myself regardless of what field i really work at.

My dream job is a researcher or a screenwriter. In fact right now I am not quite happy with my job in the office because this is not something I had wanted in my life. I am still hopeful that I can fulfill my dream to become a writer or a book author. Hopefully, circumstances will grant my wishes.

This may be freaky, but I have thought of being a librarian. I like the fact that I can be surrounded by quietness, and all I have to do is a little more work on my own initiative. I don't like to plan or boss people. I prefer to take orders and not making sales. But my qualification is too high to be a simple librarian, so here I am teaching a bunch of kids who are forced to learn Economics. Sigh.

You are still young, don't feel bad you have time to make that dream come true, I don't like airplanes so I can't see why anyone would want to work on one, but thats just me, I wish you luck, I have no doubt you will get what you want in the near future, as for me nursing is the job I would love to have, went to nursing school but it didn't work out for me, I have worked in the field since 1989, so I am o.k just taking care of people one way or the other, great post.

I think working as a member of cabin crew would be really exciting if I worked for an international airline. I would be able to fly to different destinations in the world and to get paid for it. I don't think my ears would be suitable for that sort of job.
My ideal job would be a teacher of foreign students that want to learn English. I would like to live in a different country for a year or two. Then it would be exciting to move to another country for a similar length of time. In my lifetime I would be able to live in so many different countries and live amongst the local people.

I don't know if I have a dream job but I know what I would like to do in terms of work! I would love to work from home and choose my own hours. Once upon a time I wanted to join the Royal Navy, I suppose I could refer to that as being my dream job! My hopes were destroyed though when I applied to join many years back! I took that apptitude tests and passed with flying colours however, when it came to the medical I failed miserably! I have asthma you see and this is not compatible with the Royal Navy or any of the armed forces. They told me that I had to have a clear chest for at least five years and then I could reapply but this has never happened! I fear that I will have asthma for the rest of my days! Still, it's not the end of the world. I think I have found my niche! I love computers and have been collecting a few different IT qualifications. As I said, I would love to work from home some how, I just don't know how. Well, good luck with your own plans and goals. Andrew

For as long as I can remember I have loved the movies, not just watching them but reading about the actors, finding out how movies are made and basically the whole movie industry. So for me my dream job would be to do with the movies and I couldn't imagine anything better than turning my passion into a full time career not only as a movie reviewer but also as a writer/ researcher of actor biographies.

I have had a few wonderful jobs in my lifetime, nursing, teaching(present job),daycare provider, and accounting. They were all very satisfying, but my dream job has not been fulfilled yet. I would love to work from home in my pajamas if I choose. I would love to write my first best selling novel or publish my first book of poetry. I am in the process of trying to publish my book of poetry and that would give me some income to stay at home to finish my novel.

Most airlines in Canada train all of their flight attendants from scratch....
