I work as an Auxiliary Police Officer and one of my main duties or usual assignments handed out to me is to guard banks. Now I know many people might think that is the most boring job ever (I thought like that too, once!) but if you are into people-watching, it can be kind of a fun experience! I have noticed how to look at those traits that rich people exhibit when walking into banks. They are always slow paced, never in any hurry. And they walk about without really as so much as a whimper. They only stop to ask the Personal Financial Advisers about certain shares, markets, New Banking Products etc. And they ARE ALMOST ALWAYS on their phones! But the strange thing is, it look as though they are listening to cellphones rather than using it to talk! Hahahaha! An I know the desperate ones when I see one as soon as they step into the banks. They have shifty eyes and their hands are clasped and they like to look at the floor. They always come in the banks to ask for enquiries on loans when in fact, they really ARE looking for a loan! And these kind of people are shifty when it comes to feet movements. They are always on the move about the Banking Hall when there is actually nowhere else move and are fidgety! This kind of people are the ones that I am wary of. I also see couples that go into banks and seem quite distant of each other and I always somehow knew whether it was financial problems that drive them apart or otherwise. Once, the husband went to the Gents located in the bank and the wife whipped out her cellphone and talked passionately about the night they had together with her scandal! Tsk! Tsk! What about you? You like to people watch too?? Tell me your experiences!!

Really? You have four sons in total? Wow! Good for you!! You must be proud of them I am sure. It is true though. Being a policeman, the art of people-watching or what we normally call profiling is important in our line of jobs. I wish your sons/heroes all the best in performing their duties and wish no harm would befall upon them. God-Willing.

hi syfudin oh my hubby and I used to people watch so much. we had a sort of game, we would sit on this bench in the mall and watch people seated on other benches. then one of us would suggest that we try our minds to get one of these perfect strangers to look at his or her shoes, bend over and retie them. the silly part is that nine times out of ten we actually saw them do this, bend over, look at their shoelaces and retie them. now I will never know if it was coincidence or if our two minds were able to somehow tap into these two people and tap their unconscious to retie their shoes. anyway we did love to people watch. now I have been a widow for many years, but still do this in our dining room here. we hAve several characters who make people watching such fun. And we had some fun with my mom once. she had a home about a block and a half from us. so we walked over one afternoon to pick up our two kids she had been sitting, and just as she opened the door to our knock, her cat scooted in. and as always she murmured that damned cat and this time when she said it we both said it too. she broke out into laughter and we all three had some fun with that.
