Through sleet, hail, and road work... will the mail come?

I'm trapped in my condo this week, unless I want to walk three blocks, with a two year old boy who would love to investigate the fresh tar and yellow caution tape surrounding our home. Anyhow its day 2 of a 4 day project, and again no mail. I usually get something everyday, what do you think, will the mail come?

Have you noticed they don't show those commercials anymore? I have precluded that they have changed their policy. I know on more than one occasion the mail hasn't been delivered to this property. Once was because the county was trimming trees in the middle of the street, however they could have gone around and came from the other end. The other time, I'm not quite sure why he didn't deliver. But I had outgoing mail, so that is why I was so sure.
We also had a bad snow storm here a few years ago, well one of many. And I remember talking to some people who lived on a side street and they said the mail would not run on their street until it was plowed, which would be a few days.
So, unfortunately, you will probably not get your mail.

A few days without mail is no biggie for me, I'm just postponing a few bills... I think however the mail is really important to some people. I bet that is a huge inconvenience. I wonder if you can pick up your packages at the post office when they don't deliver them to your house.

Hey glords! I don't quite understand? They are blocking you
in your house? You have no way out except that you would have
to go through the area that they have just tarred so you
can't get the mail? Where do they put you mail? It isn't in
the building where you live? As you can see I am trying to
picture this setup! I don't know what kind of condo you live
in where the mail is far enough away that you have to walk such
a distance to! That would drive me nuts! What do you do in
bad weather? Or don't you have bad weather where you live?
I realize my whole response is questions! Mylot admin will
take money away for this post!
