I have made three mistakes today.
I have posted THREE discussions today based on news articles on the internet.
The first mistake I did was not giving complete links to the copyrighted photos. I did give the general link ie worldnews.com in the discussion of the name of the newspaper and date but not the full internet link (mainly because I don't have the copy/paste function and the web links were long). Very sorry. I have only been here a month and am still learning.
My second mistake was that the post was not completely in my own words. I took only the main points out of the original article and DID change some words and the word order, but I understand that this is not good enough. Very sorry again.
Very sorry again, it was a genuine mistake and will not be repeated.

I have not seen these posts and I presume I no longer will as they have been deleted?
We are told by myLot that we earn for engaging others in intresting discussions.
You can get a topic for a discussion from an article but not just copy and paste an article here and that's that.
For example, some time back there was an item of news here about a certain vending machine being used in a London train station. Inside the machine was a man for one day. I used THAT article to discuss whether robots have caused the lack of jobs for humans. I linked to the article but did not paste any of it here at all.
We earn for being original

Thanks for coming to the rescue.
No the discussions are still up, posted just an hour or so ago.
Ok, I understand your example.
The news articles that I was referring to in my post needed some explanation as they were new proofs re aliens etc. So I felt I had to state these FIRST so that the reader could see the facts....and then I asked some questions.
I was actually just trying to share an interest area of mine, and 'open' up things further with other persons who may also be interested to discuss that topic itself?
Is this wrong?

I will get to them tomorrow and have a look as I haven't yet seen the discussions causing you concern. It's late here now (or early depending on your point of view lol) but I will get back here again

Hi Dear!
I think you being new, therefore, you could be given benefit of doubt. However, no copying of any news is permitted. I've seen some users posting discussions, based on news items, but they do mention the source and link, otherwise, there are chances that discussion might be deleted due to violation of rules.
