Any motivational speaker on Mylot? Help!!!

It has been two years that i have left motivational speaking for my job in copyediting. Earlier i was an employee in an institute as personality development instructor, and now i want to start motivaional speaking on my own in schools and colleges, etc. CAn anyone help me on that? i tried in a school but all in vain. I do not understand why am i not able to promote myself, and i am quite disapponted by this. I was not like this earlier. I think this gap of 2 years has donethis loss to me and my skills. Wat to do?
