Some people think that way, and some wish they were taller, i am not very tall, i should say i am of average height but i don't think it would have made much difference if i was taller, do you think if you were taller you would have had more confidence around others ?

Tourture is what it was, well as a child things seem much worse than they are, my mom is not that tall, actually she is shrinking if that is possible, I guess now she is getting older her posture is not as good as it use to be, so to me she looks shorter, she was not as tall as I am but she was never considered short.

I don't feel that way, people are more intimidated by me than anything else, I hated my height when I was in school, always at the back of the line, no fun at all, only now that I am older I like it, I really don't think about my height as I am walking down the street, my brother is tall so is a lot of other people I know, so compared to them I don't feel tall.

yes those person that has height are more confident than those that are not, because when you are applying for a job in girls you should be 5 feet tall and 2 inches in height so those with that height will be eligible to have job than those with lesser height.
They are more confident they will be hired if they have the height they self.

Yes, because I'm short and I cannot wear heels, so if I'm taller I will more comfortable and confident. Its not that I don't like my current height, but taller does give you more advantages, like it easier to give you access to take things from higher place.

i am glad you are satisfied with your height, my younger brother has grown taller than me, at first i used to feel strange but now there is no such feeling, coz this is what i am and people will accept me the way i am... in the end what you are matters not how you are...

Living in an Asian country where men usually only has 170 of height (around 5"7.5'), while I am 182 cm (6 foot tall) I feel I am quite to quite tall than the others. In some occasions, this height boost my confidence level cause I am sure people will notice me when I enter a room or when I walk. Sometimes, it is also a disadvantage for me for example it is hard to me standing in the bus since sometimes the roof is too low or always get noticed when I talk during class back at the uni :)
