I'm not so sure if they can see things that we can't see. Maybe its possible because our dog, sheepie is sensitive when it comes to weather. she cries when bad weather is about to come, thirty minutes or one hour after the rain pore down. Shes afraid of thunder and storm.

Absolutely. Have you ever watched a cat chase something or a dog bark at something you can't see? You tell them they've lost their mind but maybe they see a spirit. Or a dog that never barks starts barking at someone who later turns out to be untrustworthy. Animals are not subject to the same skepticisms that humans are. People can convince themselves that it was just a shadow or the house settling but a dog or a cat doesn't have to do that. If they see something, like a spirit, they accept it for what it is....or try to figure out what it is by attacking it.

I don't know if they can see spirits, but I do know they smell and hear much more than we do. My cats can hear a spider on the ceiling. The dog will bark when she gets a smell brought in by the window fans. I have had dogs that seemed to see something in the room when I couldn't see anything. A spirit? Well I don't know.

I think animals are very smart so yes I am sure they could. They hear things from far away before we ever could hear them and that is why they warn us or bark a lot before we can see a thing. I own 4 dogs so they let me know all the time before someone is even here. I am an animal lover and I think they have feeling like we do. I count my animals as family. They get very spoiled.

I seriously think so because my dog has done this numerous times. He will get up and go towards and sit there and start barking. There is no one there that I see but he acts like someone is there. Or he will look down the hallway and bark like he sees something in the hallway. He startles me when he starts to bark like that.

Without a doubt YES! I believe they sense weather changes, things like earthquakes, tornadoes, and I honestly believe they see or at least feel spiritual things- ghosts or whatever you want to refer to them as.

it is highly probable. the senses of most animals are much keener than those of mankind. this is what makes up for them the kind of deep thinking and reasoning that humankind has which the animals around us do not. i have always believed that their sense of sight and feeling are much sharper than those of what we have. it is easily observable on how dogs can detect the presence of someone else or of another animal though the dog has not yet seen the intruder. animals in the wild are also noted to sense the impending danger in the areas where they are. thus, before the danger really comes up looming, the animals in the wild have already mostly found a suitable cover.

I do believe the same. I experience weird things happening to my dogs. Sometimes they just run and bark on the wall, when I look at it, there is no one there. Even my cats are running wild. I remember my pets were annoyed one time. They were all looking on a same place , a neighbors house. After an hour or two we got the news that one of our neighbor passed away. I was thinking maybe my pets seen the soul flying high? or they had seen the soul of our neighbor separating from her flesh.

Yes. Dogs, for example, can always tell when the weather is about to change, like when a thunderstorm is about to bring rain. Animals are more in-tune with nature and spirits are apart of nature. Perhaps it's crazy to think this way because there is no scientific backing. You observe how your animals act during storms and such. These are real observations and can become facts. However, we cannot see spirits so we have only our imaginations and beliefs.

I'm sure if people can see and sense spirits then pets can also. Animals have emotions just like human beings such as love, anger, fear and their sense of hearing is better than ours. They can sense things before we even know it will happen.

I believe animals can see spirits. My old dog used to stare trance-like into the same place in our living room. While he did this you knew he was looking at something. I believe in ghosts and there is somthing in our house so I began to watch him. He would stare and then just walk away and if you called him he would respond to you but would go back to starring. One occassion though was different, he had been starring over 45 minutes and when I called his name he didn't respond. I tapped his head and he didn't move, it was as if he was hypnotised. I clapped my hands and called him a few times, but nothing. I had to pick him up and forcibly move him to the other side of the room. He looked so shocked when he realised that he had moved but didn't know how. It gets stranger though. We now have another dog, our old dog was put to sleep, and he does exactly the same. I also believe our old dog is still in the house. One example is I can be sat watching TV and the dog is sat on my lap and yet I hear the sound of paws walking across the wooden flooring and even the dog looks over to wear the sound is coming from. Explain that?

My sweet adorable cat - My cat of 15 years is now blind, and getting old...it will be a sad day when I have to put him away.
Unfortunately my poor cat is now blind, so he can't see a darn thing. Couldn't resist!

Its not actually "seeing" things in the sense of the word itself. Seeing connotes visions but i dont think its that way. Its more of "sensing". Sensing like hearing and feeling. You see dogs and cats are color blind but they do have a keen sense of hearing and smelling. If a ghost have some bad breath your pet dog probably "sees" him more than you hehehe just kidding. One of the best examples from my experience is that in establishing early warning against disasters like mudslides, avalanche etc., the community i worked with educated me and actually showed me instances where animals gave them warning. I get to see snakes, cows, dogs and cockroaches running around the area during impending disasters. funny how technology that i installed in their community can sometimes fail. As for people, some do have a keener sense of seeing things belonging to the other side. If you request I can send you videos of spiritual possessions.:-) That seems to be a concrete proof that some things are really hard to rationalize but they do exist.

I think that animals have more keen senses than humans, and therfore, they are able to see and hear things that most humans cannot. Plus, as humans grow older, they are often told that what they see or hear just isn't real, whereas animals are not, so, an animals mind is not influenced as a human's mind is. I think that this allow them to see and hear things more because they do not naturally block them out.
