to reduce safely you must have excess fat to lose. Better personal appearance is the answer why you reduce. some people reduce because they are obes, others because are diabetic. what about you do you reduce?

No, I don't diet. I don't have to. I have alway's been small all of my life. But many people lose weight because of heart problem's, or even other health problem's. My youngest son had to diet 2 year's ago because he had started gaining too much, working in the office rather then out on patrol. He has now lost that extra 36 pound's and looks great.

I definitely need to reduce my weight. I am five feet and considered really obese for my height. I went a very long time without checking a scale and noticed how snugged my clothes fit, some of them not even bought three months ago. I really had let the ball drop. Not wanting to go spend more money on clothes I have been trying to cut back and be careful what I eat. I know that it is a must because there are people in my family who are very overweight and ended up diabetic. I am going to try my best to get back down to a safe weight by keep walking every day, getting to bed earlier, eating breakfast like cereal with fiber in it. I am going through small steps to help me.

reduce? are you referring to reducing weight? why reduce? A little bit confused here, but believe you are referring to reducing weight.
It's different for everyone though. For example I am in the process of putting weight back on, but more of a weight-lifting muscle gaining exercise at the moment.
I think it doesn't matter about reducing fat or increasing weight, it all comes down to the person, how modivated the person is and their body type.
Why reduce if you are already classed as healthy.
Hope i am on the right track here mate!
