I live in Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne was reported to be 'the swine flu capital of the world'. In total there have been over 30 000 laboratory confirmed cases in Australia. That's more than Mexico has. I definitely think it's a threat to Australia.

Hello Ivan,
Swine flu was not as rampant here in India as in the European and American countries but still we had about 2000 cases tested positive for it. Apart from that there have been about 20 deaths as well. However, things have improved in the past few days and the no. of suspect cases turning up for testing are really decreasing rapidly.I must give a to the government here in New Delhi for handling the case so effectively.
In some Indian cities such as Pune and Mumbai, the infection is much severe and they have had to shut down schools and colleges for ten days. I am sure things will improve soon.

It has been a problem in Australia, but no worse than the annual flu that happens every winter.

There is definitely a threat for the United States this year. they are already taking precautions for it. They are telling us what to do and not do to prevent getting it. It is very scary.
