Responses to discussions

I had some problems responding to discussions last night and I didn't know what in the world was going on. Everytime I would respond to discussions, I would try to post them but I would get a message saying "unable to post content. Please modify your text to only include letters, numbers, and standard punctuation." Well, I always include letters, numbers, and standard punctuation. I tried doing my responses over and I would get the same response. I even tried to start a discussion about this last night and I got the same response. I also tried to pm one of my mylot friends to see if she could help me but I had the same problem. I haven't had this problem with any of my responses tonight. Has anybody else ever experienced this? Please tell me what's going on.

I had the same problems & still have had them this morning. I don't know what mylot is doing but will be glad when they get it done.

maybe it is the hackers they have been interputing face book and some more i heard on the news

Hi cyrus. I got this message too a couple of nights ago. At the time I didn't know what the heck was going on. After several failed attempts to post responses and comments I finally gave up and watched a movie instead. The following day some mylotters had noticed the new "quizzes" tab. I'm guessing this new item had something to do with us not being able to post.
I'm glad things are working now as I have a lot of posts to catch up on. And here I'm on dial-up.

Hi sacmom! Thank you for responding. I didn't know it was because they were adding quizzes at the time. I tried one last night and it was kind of fun. After trying so many times to post responses, start discussions, etc., I decided that I would just try it again the next day. I did and everything was fine. Kathy.

I have not had this problem but I have had others and I have complained so many times. I do not get the notifications from my friends and it is hard for me to get time to 'look to see if they have posted as I like to respond to my friends' first. Oh I just remembered that once I logged on and there was a notice saying that the site was being upgraded. I mean, how many times do you complain? It can be very frustrating and then my friends are thinking that I am not responding to them.

Everything is fine now. I found out that mylot was adding quizzes and I didn't know this at the time. I just couldn't imagine what in the world was going on. I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. I tried one of the quizzes and it was kind of fun. Thank you for responding and happy mylotting. Kathy.

it happened a couple aweeks ago to me and all of my lot discussions were comning through spam, yesterday they started to come in my in box and i am glad

Like I told sacmom below, I didn't know they were adding quizzes. After trying so many times to post responses, start discussions, etc. I decided I would just wait and try it again the next day. Everything is fine now. I couldn't imagine what was going on at the time. Thank you for responding and have a good night. Kathy.

Yes I had the same problem and did the same thing you did to post a new discussion about the problem I was having and I couldn't post a thing. Even trying to respond to people who had responded to my discussion I couldn't post a thing. So I got so fed up I just ended up shutting down for the night. I haven't had a problems today.

That's what I said why don't they send us a message telling us what is going on. Then we wouldn't have to be discussing it.

Not your computer, just a glitch someplace I am sure because I had the same issues. I am also unable to post under comments. I have however been able to PM my friends. Hang in there it'll get resolved it always does.
