I have this experience when i did make transaction personally at one of the local banks here in our place. You will never believe it, it took me two hours before i completed the transaction. Seemed like the person at the bank didn't know her work and made me speak with the assistant manager when all the time it can be escalated to next level of verification only. Duh! Online transaction is way better, you can do transactions in a matter of time. Have you experienced what i did?

I usually only go to the bank when I have to deposit cash but everything else I take care of online. I also help my mother pay her bills with her online bank account. It's easier than making trips to the bank and mailing out checks. It's much more convenient online

ofcourse the online banking is better any day. the transaction takes hardly any time to complete and it saves you time at the bank, conveyance to the bank and not to mention some of the incompetencies of the bank executives. it is absolutely wonderful to be able to bank at home.

The only time I go to the bank is when I deposit money on my account. The rest are done online. I have enrolled my bank account with online banking that enables me to do my banking transactions online. The good thing is that the teller in the bank are all friends of mine. Some of them are even my classmates way back then. So most often, I do not have to line up when I make a deposit. I just give it to them... When there are so many people, I just leave it and just come back for the deposit receipt later on.

Well with that case, i prefer to use online banking than waiting for two hours to complete a transaction. Actually most of the time, i and my hubby use online banking,if there is a problem online, we can call the bank personel anytime. So no hassle, and they have a strick security online.

Hey,
I actually prefer to do banking at the actual bank, rather than use the Internet to actually do online banking. I for some reason think that it is much more safer to do banking at the actual branch itself, than doing it online. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I prefer to go to the bank unless it is for routine checking of balances as I like the feel of talking to live people and am not so sure about internet security as there really are no hacker proof websites even if there are those who say otherwise.

both have advantages and disadvantages.
it is way much safer if you do it in the bank.
but:
you spend on gas.
you have to wait in line.
it takes a lot of time.
if you do it at home:
it's quicker.
convenient.
...as to safety it's not 100% though

Well I'm from India and here the concept of internet banking is in its beta version. There are still some snags up with it. So I prefer transacting personally at the bank rather than using internet banking facility. Some of my friends have suffered some wrong transactions online. So I generally don't wanna take risks in this case.

i prefer going to the bank personally
as you know, internet is not a safe place. it is possible i enter the bank website to do internet banking and not knowing the website is a fake one...so it isnt safe

The convenience of doing banking transaction online is way beyond than doing it personally. It seems that online transaction would be chosen by many, however both have advantage and disadvantage. Sometimes i get to think of doing it personally because of too many scammers lurking online. Pretending to be a angels that will help you, but they are there to rip you off actually.

I personally prefer internet banking because it's hassle free and more convenient than queues at the bank and even waiting for hours. Sometimes you can even encounter unfriendly representatives. So I would choose internet for faster transaction.

I prefer online banking, because it is faster and much easier. My local bank is quite small, and few people work there. I know the woman who works there, she is friendly, but she is often very busy, because she has to handle everything on her own. There is often a long line of people, so we need a lot of patience. Sometimes I have to go to the bank, but when it is possible I prefer to handle things via online banking. It is very convenient, and I like the fact that I can do use online banking whenever I want to, My local bank usually closes at 4 p.m., but online banking doesn't close till late at night.

I don't have time to queue waiting for my number to be call at the bank. Besides, I am working during the evening. It's better to use the online banking and pay the bills online. I only go to the atm machine to withdraw money for daily purposes and that only around once in two weeks. I hate crowded places and bank is one of them!

It is any time better to do transactions on net. I cant stand the sight of queue at every counter and sometimes the rude behaviour of officals. The best advantage about online banking is that i can do it any time I wish even in the middle of the night. Private banks and their services are alot better than the nationalised ones.

I would prefer to go to my branch if I am depositing money. I want to be a witness when I put my money there. If anything goes wrong I know who I spoke to and what they did. If I am paying bills I do that online using internet banking. I would give the person behind the counter a break. The person was probably new. We have all been new at something. What I hate going to the bank is the long line. I am very impatient.

I use the online banking facility to check the credits and debits in my account. I never give instructions for payment online, and because of this, if any such instructions ever reach my account, they will be viewed with suspicion. I enjoy very cordial relationship with my bank managers. I cannot avoid going to bank as there are some cheques that I receive every month and they have to be deposited in bank. So I guess, the rapport I have with them makes them go out of their way to be helpful to me. One advantage of visiting bank is u can get commemorative coins, or latest notes, if u numismatics is ur hobby. The cashier at the bank remembers that and always keeps aside any coins that could be of interest to me. :-)

I prefer transacting personally at the bank becos it is more safety than internet banking. Nowadays cyber crime are incresing and they can misuse the passpord and do the forward
