True Blood versus other Vampire Shows / Movies

I already watched the first two episodes of HBO's True Blood series. I wonder how is this series compared to other vampire flicks out there. I did read an article that Anna Paquin an award for her role.

True blood is really the best one. The others are also good.

This is my absolute favorite, its pretty much the only show that I watch. I watched last season and all of these so far. I am planning on getting the book series once the last episode shows. I am so sad that the season is almost over then I will have nothing to watch.
