It is common and useful to get a table calendar on the office table or on the compute table. Do you have a table calendar? How many you have? Or maybe I should ask is your table calendar up to date, don't tell me you still have a 2008 table calendar on your table... Or you just have the latest version of calendar, for the year of 2010?
This is just a simple discussion. Tell and share here your story about your table calendar. What you do on it? Do you like to mark some important dates on the calendar?

You're right, table calendar really useful, sometimes I check it when I do my task and forget about the date or event/plan for that day. Honestly, I never buy table calendar, I get it from my English course or from other companies that send it to my uncle.. Too many table calendar in my home,, I mark my period date and when I need to change my contact lenses, mark my best friend birthday on it, other plan or upcoming event. My table calendar full of mark!

I have a few table calendars too. Honestly speaking, I never buy any table calendar at all. We do the usual birthdays and anniversaries. We also put down special occasions, parties or plans that might affect other household members. If someone has to work different hours or has a meeting, or is going to be out for an evening, that all gets put down on the calendar. My favorite thing is putting the vacation information down. Nothing like having something to look forward to.

I have 2 table calendars at home, one at the desktop table and another one at my kitchen on top of the fridge. Normally I not jot down many things there, cause nothing much to write on.
The only thing I put there as a remark is those wedding dinner date. Once we got the invitation card we will write it down there, else we can forget about it after reading the card and put it on the table without remember when is the date.
Last time during my working day, reading the table calendar really stress me up, coz all are important notes on the each day for dateline, meeting and projects.. Nearly 3/4 are of the squates are fills with that...now I just love the clean calendar.

I like your response. It seems like you have a different look on your calendar after you become stay at home mom. It is so stress to have the calendar jot down with all the working schedule and working task.n It is good to hear that Now you have a CLEAN calendar. It is a good idea to jot down the wedding invitation dates for friends. At least my hubs will get to know the date from the calendar and stop asking me when we need to go for the function.

We always have to have a table calender though we keep it hanging on the wall in the living room where we can all see it and reach it easily. We are a family of 6 people and that generally means lots and lots of appointments so we have to keep the family calender up and up-to-date so we know who goes where on what date. It's the only way we've been able to keep track of things. We usually order one of the personalized calenders that has pictures of all our smiling faces on each month and then we have pictures at the end of the year to put into frames. It's a two-fer for us.

We no longer use table calendars, although we do still have some pretty ones hanging on the wall. Now I mainly use the calendar on my smart phone and one on the laptop computer. The ones on the wall are mostly for decoration. I like the electronic ones better because we can go back or forward many years instead of just a few months at a time. Once or twice, though all the calendar information on my PDA got zapped and I was greatly inconvenienced by losing that data. I had many backup files but they all got ruined.

Hi thank you for your sharing here. I do have a wall calendar too. But that is for decoration, it has beautiful picture on it, hence I don't write anything there. Seems like a mummy really need a calendar at home, be it a table calendar or wall calendar. We just have so many things to write about the appointments and other schedule.

Dear vingyan,
I too have this Sushi table calendar, but I don't know
where I have chuck it already. So, you are Sushi King
member too? Twice a year they have member's day, do you
go and enjoy the low price sushi?
Last time when I am still working I preferred the table
planner where we can jot down all our appointments there!
I will have a table calendar on my office table to refer when
I am on the phone to make an appointment. But nowadays I am
at home, I find that this table calendar take space, not quite
like it.
I am putting a small pocket calendar right infront of me at my
PC now, if I need to refer, I just look at it, it have the details
on school holidays, public holidays and the whole of 12 months in
a glance.
All the best and happy myLotting !

Table calendar comes handy when it is sitting right in front of you at your working desk.. I will always got one for myself and I depend on it very much.. I will also look for those that carry the lunar calendar too!
So, what will sit on my table of course will this year calendar, and I notice the one that I have, is having last year from Oct till next year January.. very considerate ones, since we may change our calendar but there were some dates there which we need, and sometimes may not get the new calendar till later.
I also have those calendar which provide some note pads attached to it, and I will surely remove those note pads, when I change my calendar.. and every year, I will look forward to receive this from the same person since it's useful.
And my part time maid, uses the table calendar in my house to joit down all her work dates so that we could pay her..

Hello Cwong, happy to see you again in my discussion. It seems like you depend a lot on your table calendar. It is good to have a complete table calendar, with lunar calendar, public holidays list and school holidays list as well. It is good that your part time maid jot down her working days on the calendar. It makes clear that you would not pay any extra. LOL.

I use the communicator. Enough to contain many words. So, when the alarm sounds, the look is the first time the title moment. Then I open the note. Very easy.
I believe that in a moment later you will leave the table calendar, and moved to the cellphone. (sorry, just kidding)

I have one table calendar on the compute table that I bought in Bath last year for 2009. It has very beautiful views of Bath in seasons. I like it very much. Every day when I sit by the table using my laptop, the table calendar always reminds me the happy moments I had in Bath. I sometimes mark some important dates on it so even one year finished I still can keep as a diary or record of last year.
I have not bought new one yet. Maybe next month when I have holiday I can find one I like.

The table calendar is provided for free in my office. However, I normally end up marking the same page almost the whole year. It's just that below each month/page, all the months of the year are already included at the bottom part and I can't throw away the notes I've written in that same page I'm working on because usually I got lots of phone numbers written there and names of contact persons.
