twitter or facebook?

I find it's a little hard to compare the two sites as they are very different. Twitter is for short updates about yourself and an opportunity to display a picture on your background. Facebook allows a bigger outlet for keeping in touch and posting thoughts/pictures. I much prefer Facebook as it is a great way for me to keep in contact with my friends and family. With two kids it's hard to email everyone I would like to keep in touch with. Facebook is a great way to let everyone know how we are doing and to post pictures of the family.

I agree with everyone who says that they're apples and oranges--my FB is very private and non-searchable and I only use it to communicate with people I know and to stay in touch. I use Twitter for business, networking, getting and sharing news and information, as well as chatting with friends. I find I'm enjoying spending time on Twitter much more that FB, but it's because I use it for so many different things.

I belong to both, but I have never used Twitter. It just doesn't suit my needs. I have no desire to tell people what I am doing minute by minute. I love the games at Facebook and play several of them. My current favorite is Pet Society. Anyone who has a pet on Pet Society is welcome to friend me. Your pet can never have too many friends. My one complaint is that it is difficult to get into Pet Society.

I like the most are facebook, because it has many new games and so many fun things to do you can chat also there, and write anything that is in your mind.

I've been a member of facebook for quite a while, and a member of twitter for just a short time. Between the two, I much prefer facebook to twitter mostly for the fact that I don't really understand twitter. Besides that, most of my friends are on facebook while most of them don't use twitter. I also really like that you can do so much on facebook between the quizzes and the games and such that I can spend a lot of time on there and not get bored.

i feel like this question is similar to the question: "what do you like more, apples or the color blue?"

I only have facebook, not twitter, and i really like fb
