Today in the Washington Post, there is a article about Henry Waxman writing to over 50 Health Insurance companies demanding info on compensation, profits.executive travel etc. He has no right to do this!! These companies need to say hell no to him. Why do we let our government trample on our rights!! They are the one's who wanted 8 luxury jets to fly all over the world and spend our tax dollars. How would you like your government telling you what you should make.

Waxman the taxman has no right to make such a demand. It is time we start putting this tyrants in there place. In America we use to know what to do with tyrants, now we elect them over and over again. Even those Democrats are facing a blood bath, Waxman will get re-elected. This is one reason for term limits, Waxman has in in office since 1975. Waxman has never had a real job. After he graduated from UCLA law school he got elected to the California assembly. Served three term, then got himself elected to the House. So not only do we did term limits to keep these career politician from setting up little kingdoms but we have got to start electing people who actually know a few things about how every day life actually happens.

Ya know, if you look into the medicaid, the schips, and the like for you state, I believe you will find that much of it is now going through various insurance companies. At least that is how it is in NY. They will give you an assortment of insurance companies you can pick from...
The gov't contracts with them to insure the poor.
Which, ya know what, probably means that the insurance companies are just a tad bit dependent on the government to supply them with customers at this point in the game since they've managed to increase their fees to the point where so many can't afford them!
Well, we all may not like it, but DEPENDENCY=SERVITUDE!!
The healthcare providers wanted more money for their services than the "free market" could extend to them, thus, in came the insurance companies. The insurance companies wanted more money than the free market could extend to them, so in came the gov't aide programs to solve that problem. And, of course, the people want services and goods even if they can't afford it, so well, there's government aide!
So, now, we got lawmakers wanting to tax things like chocolate milk, claiming that drinking it is causing the healthcare costs to skyrocket, we got doctors who have lost their freedom to practice medicine they way they want, we got local, state, and federal government taxing the hades out of us to pay the tab.
If the insurance companies don't want the government prying into their business, then they shouldn't take their money!! If the doctors don't want the government and insurance companies prying into their business, then they shouldn't be taking their money, and if you people don't want the government prying into everyone's business......the you shouldn't be taking their money!!!
It's the dependency on the money that gives the government the right to start questioning the insurance companies about their compensation plans!
Independency and Freedom run hand in hand...take away the independence and well, the freedom will soon go away also. This is what has been happening. And yet, mention that our lower paid workers should be paid more...and what do you get? Na, that would raise the prices and we don't want to pay higher prices!!
so, we are paying with the loss of freedom!

The people who should demand that information, if they want it, are the share holders tof he stock companies and the policy holders of the mutual companies. Why not ask the Trial Lawyers information. The reason he wants the information is to try and force them into supporting the Presidents Health Care and also to get more political contributions from them.

Everyone needs to call Taxman and demand his compensation, profits, executive travel and all his other documents.
The difference between what Taxman did and what we would be doing is, it IS our business, but none of his.
He's nothing but a petty tyrant with a lot of useful idiots voting for him.
Yes, if anyone out there voted for him... YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
