Is Mylot planning big makeover OR Shutdown??

I have experienced such with mylot too. Lately problems keep on occuring like having problems logging-in and so many alerts keep on coming. Well,I hope that if mylot is planning of making the site a bigger social networking site then I hope it would be for the better and more fun like what you've mentioned the facebook which is so interactive. Though I'm fine with the changes if there is any just don't like the quizzes because of the personal infos to be given and only for U.S. residents..grr!!If there will be any changes hope it will be for the better!:)

From what you mentioned above, I don't have any problem like that. I did experience some problem when I posted a discussion, the system just pop up an error screen. When I log back in to mylot, my discussion was there, and nothing was change. So, other than that, I don't have any technical problem with mylot. Only my earning is significantly decreased. Due to God knows reason. Maybe my postings aren't good enough, or mylot decreasing its credit to its members.

As it is growing and more members are coming in I think it is trying to do some cleaning work and trying to make things in order.Well whatever they do we do not have any option than sitting down and watching.Don't we?

Now that's a serious question.......to be honest from last one month things have been up on a toss here on mylot......there were many rumors that mylot is going to shut down in august and that it is going to stop paying......slow loading pages, late updation of daily earnings(weekends)......very less 4 paragraph tasks(I just saw few, on Monday).....I would hate to see mylot shutdown as i found it really very interesting and trust me I would say it can get better that facebook specially because of its user friendly layout....... I would not like to jump to a conclusion at this very moment.......lets hope that something big is our way and everything gets back to normal.....I would not like to loose the precious friends that i made here on mylot since past few months...... I wish the site was more admin interactive as there is very less option to interact with the admin and very few alerts sent by the admin, if there is a problem then it would really be good of the admin to send out alerts stating whats wrong, this would soothe the troubled minds and would stop the frequent ranting by people who do it just for the heck of it without understanding the gravity of the problem..... Hope for the best !!!!

I read some recent posts that some Mylotters were unable to log in to their account. However I did not face the same problem. In fact, I haven't encountered any hitches at all. Every web site has had some sort of downtime every once in a while, nothing serious. I am not surprised if and when Mylot experience such. But I wouldn't go as far to say Mylot is closing down. Far from it, I think Mylot is doing extremely well, judging from the many positive responses from fellow Mylotters. This site is going to be around for a long while yet, don't you worry. And at the same time is providing us an avenue to post our feelings and thoughts besides making a small amount of passive income.

i hope nothing happen to this site. i just join to get some money, hehe

We have had more Alerts recently but that was because they sent one about the trolls misusing tags and the mylot flyers feature. I've not had any troubles logging in recently but I've been very busy so I haven't been on here as much recently. I don't think the site is going to go anywhere or change dramatically in the near future, when there are changes they normally only tell us when it's happened or is just about to happen but they will let us know if anything is going to change.

in reality i noticed the mylto slowlyness on mylot lastly but as regards the other problems i never experienced before here!!SO may be it can happen to some members during an upgrading time for the mylo servers as well!!In reality when mylot was fast as site to post heeh...i guess it is slow also now compared to other site but this is normal due to the strong activity and posting they will have daily and in the same time!! I don't knwo if they will program a shutdown but for the moment they di not ive me this impression you know w will see because it is impossible o prevent it for any sites!!I think it would eba pity because mylot is honest site also as regards earnings and payments you know there not so much around nowadays!!

I prefer the simplicity we have now but if they grow I will enjoy having so many people to interact with! I'm not part of FaceBook or other social sites, this is the only one I post on. I like it the way it is but I hope any changes the make retains the camaraderie we have now.

A few days before I found that when I opened mylot website a long time, the IE will became slow, but if I open a new IE windows, it is more quick than older one. At that time I think maybe my computer's problem, now I know not only me met that problem. Actually I can solve this problem easy, only need to open a new IE windows and log in again.

I also experienced the same thing last August 18. I thought i got banned from here and almost cried because i was close to my payout. It also happens that i had some heated argument with one of the members here. I was desperately contacting mylot what happened but can not reach them at all. So my brother told me quit acting like a jerk because maybe mylot is just having their maintenance *which appears to be true*. So when i stopped responding, I tried one of the quizzes and was obliged to type the state where i was living. I was shocked and totally left that quiz and proceed with answering discussions. I guess it isn't fair that other members could not enjoy the program that US citizens could enjoy.

yes i experince that on August 18 2009 i can't respond on my own discussion and i can't create new discussion.. mylot say enable to post contend please try again later I'm so mad at that time really hate mylot that time.. my earning in mylot is affected from that.. and my earning is not move is still 2.42 i create 20 discussion and my respond on my own discussion is 50 member of mylot but my earning is still 2.42 not chance I'm so mad at mylot still now if tomorrow my earning is not chance i will quit from mylot... i promise to my self if somethings happen again weird from this site i quit from this site

well you make some good points in the above comments. However I personally have not experienced this. I haven't seen any of this issues you have spoken about. Ok, I lyed I have had a few alerts, but they are just messages from MyLot admin mainly. Other than that MyLot has been coasting along perfectly for me. Cheers,

I just had the same problem a few times I couldn't post responses and if I do, I can't add comments to them it's weird but well if it's shutdown then I'll find another site I think it's getting bigger they need a makeover and without money they may have to shut down

I haven't had any problem with mylot at all...no errors or anything like that. And I have been on and off a lot the past few days and haven't noticed anything. It's not going slower than usual either. Maybe if it's going slow for you it could be that a lot of people are on mylot at the same time and it could be slow the server down a little.

I don't think mylot is planning on shutting down. Mylot might not be as popular as facebook but they do have 180,000 members and the number is still growing. Also, mylot had started its own discussion saying that it would be around for a long while so we don't have to freak out about the troubles its been having
