LCD monitors

I am a addicted surfer of Internet. I have CRT monitor and i am much comfortable with reading articles in the CRT monitor. Hence i am planning to buy a LCD monitor,
My friends suggested me to go for Samsung monitors but personally i like dell products. Can any one help me on this. That is what are things i need to consider before purchasing a LCD monitor.

There are usually two things you have to focus before you buy a LCD monitor.
One is dark spot, another is white spot. Dark spots would be very bad for a LCD monitor. You can see it in screen testing software, you can download one from NOVIA websit for free. for White spots, you could see them by turn down the lightness of the monitor.

Computer LCD monitors don't vary that much with quality. A good place to start shopping for a monitor is on www.Newegg.com. I have used this website multiple times for building my own computer and both of my LCD monitors are from them.
The best way to determine the monitor for you is to find the average price of monitors on NewEgg, and from there pick the one that you like the best for looks that has an average price.
Whenever buying things online it is in your best interest to compare prices and chose a product with the AVERAGE price because the ones which are very high priced you know you're wasting money, and low priced monitors you can tell they may lack in quality.
