Windows 7 OS

Recently i have downloaded and installed Windows 7 RC version from net. I was bit surprised the way it worked. Because there was a lot of complaints on Vista. Whereas in Windows 7, system works really fast and features are awesome. I am using an old PC with 1.6 Ghz single core Processor and 1 GB RAM. I think the Windows 7 will become popular after the disaster of Vista.

Yes i think so. Too bad it cant work on my computer because i dont have a video card. I know you are going to say go buy a video card but the reason i dont have one now is because i cant find it any where. I have a pci slot. Everywhere i check has either agp slot video cards or pci-express slot video card. I am just bad lucky

Yes, I believe it will, I am running Windows 7 RTM and it has no flaws or bugs that I can point out, unlike the release of Vista.

Yes i think microsoft thought about its last os as vista and so it considered that it was really a mistake for many users so i think they tried to work better as regards windows 7!in reality i did not download the tester version before but i see something about the new os and it seemed to me interesting...features and graphics seemed really ok as regards time to load, bootstrap and so on..i think normally windows designed heavy os but if you tried on your pc with this configuration and all come good even the speed may be windows 7 will be realy better than vista and so many people would liek it!! Probably vista was really useful for many people to convict them to try other os as linux because it was really awful and have so much electronic lock..so terrible!!

windows 7 so named because it is the seventh operating system in the miscrosoft windows product line, offers a number of features to make the s easy to use . the feature are designed to improve the overall customer experience .however some users may not be ready to commit themselves to abandoning their current operating system in favour of windows 7.instead they may wish to install a virtualized version of windows 7 using microsofts virtual software .fortunately the process of installing windows 7 on microsoft virtual pc is fairely straightforward and takes abotu the same amount of times as a standard operating system installation

ya buddy windows 7 I used the beta version of it was a good one and best version of windows i used it so much i had 2gb ram but my screen resolution was smal to use it so i had to switch back to windows xp sp3, i really enjoyed all the features of the windows 7 , i love all features in it , specially i think windos 7 is more secure than the windows vista, it has included the touch screen features in it... windows bitdefender etc runs and keeps over sysyetm less vulerenability

I am using Windows7 from couples of months. Except IE i culdnt find any problem using it. Especially its very fast while downloading but i dont know whether the fastness is due to my Duo2Core processor or windows7. Yes there is a problem with IE as some sites are not opening and suddenly IE closes showing some error has occured. i tried to solve the problem by updating IE but still its like that only. May br its due to beta version or really is there any bug which has to be informed?

Anything would be better than vista. I have had more problems with my laptop locking up, and I never had that with xp, at least not as much as I have with vista. It seems to lock up at the most inopportune time, and it is so frustrating when it does that. I will probably wait until I see how windows 7 works for others befsoe I even think about getting it. I most likely will buy a new computer with it on instead of upgrading as sometimes upgrading can cause a lot of problems. I just hope it runs better than vista and doesn't lock up my computer so badlay. Have a good day, and happy myltting.

I agree I have downloaded it to. It is much quicker and easier to use than Vista. I really like the way it tells you with a flag that you need to do something to the computer, that way it helps to keep your computer up to date. Did you trial with Mcafee for their Beta version of Internet Security that works really well with Windows 7.

Even though Windows 7 is a completely revamped OS, it still bears the same capabilities and looks, that many have seen in Windows Vista or XP. Combining these two, has turned it into a masterpiece, or so some state, others just call it Vista 2. Be what it is - its certainly a step forward, unlike Vista, which was a major setback for Microsoft. Whereas XP was simple and easy to use, Vista was just downright flashy and too.. uh.. "gadgety". In other words - when they tried to simplify the whole process of using an OS, they made it worse by that. Although I don't see myself switching from XP to Windows 7 any time soon, I might give it a try soon enough.

Though I myself have not yet tried Windows 7, but till now they review have come across about the new Microsoft Window, almost every review gave it thumps up and every review criticized the predecessor Vista for the lack of comparability as compared to Windows 7. But Windows 7 is not yet launched and it will be exciting to see the final offering with an upgraded interface like MacOS and better security, compatibility, ease of use and lower hardware requirements. Hope for the best.
