I feel bad for your son, but I think he should be okay as the man obviously meant no harm to him, or it doesn't seem that way Perhaps it was a family member that was simply checking on everyone and your son is the one that happened to spot him. Since your son is so little yet, I would be lenient if he starts to say that he wishes to leave his light on when he goes to sleep :)

We leave his light on and i stay in the room while he is going to sleep, but after just two or three hours he wakes up now and screams. He is in a bedroom with his younger brother so we have to take our son out of the bedroom before he wakes his brother up.

That is sad Have you thought about having a talk with your pastor? Maybe they can help your son feel a little less frightened.

I would probably just freeze and not know what to do. I am not sure if I would want to sleep in the room again. It depends on whether I saw the ghost a second time. If I did see a second time I know for sure I would probably not even want to live in the house again.

Aw, I feel bad for your son. I don't know what I would do if I saw a ghost. I probably would be pretty freaked out about it. I don't think I would want to sleep or even be in a room after seeing a ghost in it. I guess it would depend on the type of ghost and whether I got a bad vibe from them or not.

I would never sleep with the lights off again even if it makes me a hypocrite since I yell at my mother for wasting electricity. Hopefully I would never have to do that. It's scary if I believe ghosts are actually out there. Maybe he just saw a shadow or recently saw a horror film on TV? Still, it must be scary for your son.

Your poor son. I am sorry that he got scared by a ghost. I actually felt like he did but I was about six years older. It was sometime after my grandfather passed and I remember getting up from bed because I wanted some water. I really thought I saw and smell the spirit of my grandfather walking around in the apartment. He owned the building before my aunt and mom inherited it. My auntie said the same thing that she thought she saw grandpa walking around too. I remember for a while everytime a major holiday would come up, I would smell a distinct scent of Old Spice and cologne. So I agree with the other mylotters cause chances are it was a family member who is still watching over you and watching your son grow up big and strong.

I actually have seen a ghost. It was five years ago when I lived in the dorms at college (keep in mind that this particular dorm has a very justified reputation for being haunted), and when I did see it, my first thought was "Wow, that was weird." Then I kept mulling it over, and the more I did, the more I realized that what I'd seen could not have been something that could rationally be explained. It was then that I was like, "Okay...new dorm next semester. This is just freaky."

Well you need to tell him how to be proactive. Visions will usually go away when told to go. He feels fear because he has no control, tell him what he can do and make sure you say it in a very positive way. Even if this is a ghost often they will leave when told to. Most of the time young children are just more sensitive and see more than the rest of us. Don't make fun of him or devalue his opinion in any way just show him how to cope. If you want get some sage and burn it in his room, make sure he helps in this blessing. Just burn the sage and make sure the smoke gets in all the corners of the room, ask for blessing and tell all other energies to leave. Usually children feel much better after they have been able to do something. If this becomes more of a problem seek help of a sensitive but make sure they come well recommended. Remember there are many scammers in this area of service.

It's natural for young children to saw spirit. You need to calm him down and tell him everything will be alright. Maybe the man was just there to greet and won't do anything (even if that's not true, you can console him that way~~~) I never see a ghost. I don't know what I'll do if I see one. I probably froze on the spot and take some time to regain composure. Then I'll probably scream or just find someone to talk. By that time, that ghost will no longer be there.

I saw a ghost when I was in high school many many years ago. I went downstairs in my basement to do a load of laundry and there she was dressed in yellow from head to toe standing between the washer and boiler. I dropped the basket and ran upstairs. My parents came to me I was white as a ghost. My dad when to check it out and it was gone. I never went downstairs again by myself. Scary stuff.

When I was young I usually close my eyes whenever I got scared and thought that there is something supernatural. As I grow older my faith in God develops so now I could say that I will pray to make the bad spirits go away.
