Today I receive a few same messages form my Norton Antiviris about the attack attempt.
This is the information
Risk Name : NMap Null Scan
Severity : Medium
Attacking Computer : 80.2.126.108
Note : Network traffic from 80.2.126.108 matches the signature of a known attack.
Anyone knew about this? What should I do since my Norton free trial will be ended in a few days.

I am sure somebody scan your computer's port,.NMap Null Scan means they want to control your computer, they try to find a port that they can put trojan in your computer. Now I think you still safty, because you Norton Antiviris still can told you you are scaned. But you should be more careful, don't go to the unbelievable website, don't open the email that you don't know who sent to you.
Happy mylot!

Hi xichen,
I don't know which website that contain a virus or spyware that I have visit. But I visit a lot of website lately but I am looking for some information especially about movies. That is scared me since I am very green on this technical side of computer. I have to look for a better free antivirus software after my Norton trial expired. I am thinking about AVG since I have used it before. What do you think about it?

I did not meet this problem before, but I ask some friends about this problem. So I am sure PC-antispyware-2010 is a virus, so you should download a antivirus to kill the virus. I help you find one: Http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-pc-antispyware-2010.html . You try it first, any problem you still can ask me.
Happy mylot!

Hi akuler,
firstly, i have to recognize that i am not good at computer skills. So no comments on it. I come here just just for support and sharing with my experience. Now i am also using free antivirous software, Nod32. The due date will be November. Still some time to use it free. Maybe to the time, i will buy it every month. $6 every month. This is the general price of most anti-virous software in China. How about it in your country?
Hope you can resolve your problem very soon.

hi akuler I would get the latest free AVG virus protection'and get
rid of nortons that just slows down your computer and is not all'that great at detecting virus. I hAd bad luck with Norton but not with'free AVG. AVG does all the work for you and puts the virus in jail and them you can either delete it, have AVG clean it if it is cleanable'or just keep the virus in jail.

You cannot go wrong with the AVG free ! I sometimes think it picks up better than the scanners we pay for.But my server gives me McAfee right now they have the best rating but it is no longer ok to use with AVG.AVG free rocks !And will find the problem for you asp. Good luck

Hi capsicum,
AVG is a good stuff. I have used it before. It is also didn't take much of our storage space. It is lighter the Norton. I think I will get install it later after my Norton trial expired. Most of the established antivirus software (like Norton and McAfee) didn't compatible with other type of antivirus.
Thanks for sharing.

hello i am hacccccker
i am here to solve all of your problems.
i read your problem
here is its explanation
some hacker try to remotely establish a connection with you . it is due to from any reason .
mostly do this with the help of telnet . if you don't know abut telnet then ask me
and your norton antivirus block this ip address.
now you have to attack this ip address back which i am sure you cant do because you are not a hacker.
the thing you can do is to try to locate this ip address.
may be that hacker steal any thing from your computer
go to www.whatismyipaddress.com and then trace that ip.
may be that hacker come again to contact you
so make your norton antivirus registered.
if you are feeling that your antivirus trial will end.
then no worry's
contact me i will give you the list of the usernames and passwords free of cost to register your norton antivirus.
i am also a hacccccker but i work to serve humanity
see my blogs and response my discussions to gain more knowledge.
thanks

Hi haccccker,
Thanks for that offer but I will pass it this time. I didn't want to use Norton anymore after this because they are too heavy with my computer specification. I prefer the light one like AVG.
Thanks for your response and have a nice day.

you trace route the ip name to see fom where it come from and so you cna understand what is it and what kind of attack it is...it sounds starnge..that at the same time your free trial is ending and you received an attack may be there are hose alerts from some companies as norton that ive this to upgrade your free trial someimes it happened anyway try to see more about it to be sure that is not so bad for pc as well!!

I traced the ip address and i got this information
Hostname: cpc3-birk2-0-0-cust619.bagu.cable.ntl.com
ISP: Virgin Media
Organization: Virgin Media
Proxy: None detected
Type: Cable/DSL
This is from UK (city-Birkenhead)
I am sure this is not from Norton since Norton is from US.
