So, I'm pregnant of 3rd baby. I wonder how many times of C-section is allowed for a woman. Because my previous delivery is also by C-section. Is it safe to have C-section again?

Not yet experience having c-section. Someone i know got 3 times with 3 years and 4 years gap. It is not an issue to have many c-section in my own views as long as the mother can still recover from it and can do her usual work after operation and have enough time to prepare again for the next c-s. For my own opinion i will only stick to three times as it is very different to be in c-s than in normal. Better have a permanent family planning after three times.

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/c-section/MM00539 This doctor here says that it depends on the person really. 3 is not that many. And if you had complications on natural birth on the first two it is very likely you will have to have one on the third. I think it is more risky if the pregnancies are close together. If you haven't had the time to full heal. I also had 2 c-sections but they were 5 years apart. The second one was planned because the first time I had to have an emergency c-section because my daughter got stuck.
