Crazy craigslist saling and buying online

I was trying to sell my laptop computer online. So, I did an ad, and posted in on craigslist.org with pictures, and descriptions. A couple days later, a contact was sent to my email, and asking about the laptop computer. The contact person who sounds so desperate, and in need of a computer recently; but he doesn't have any cash with him. He trying to make an offer; all he got is a hand gun, he would like to trade that laptop with his hand gun.
Gosh, why would I need a gun for? Plus, I am selling it because I need cash to buy a new one. Crazy things always happen in craigslist, don't you agree?

Craigslist is whack! 
I don't know why they have dating options on there because even to just sell things you get weirdo's. I never had a problem in my email account until i tried selling a painting on mylot and a toy my kids grew out of (which i did sell though) but now my junk folder is always full of people from other countries. I never will use craigslist again if i have to use my email account. I like going to craigslist for the art listings.
