Our emotion can alter DNA?

I recently read a story about an experiment conducted by the Institute of Heart Math. DNA was removed from several test subjects and isolated. It was determined that during certain states of being, we create energy waves that cause DNA to wind in a small measure, while one subject who was upset during the study experienced nearly no winding of his DNA. (Sorry I paraphrased the article as it was sent to my inbox).
I think that this is a fascinating find and more study should be put into it. What do you think?

i am not sure but i do doubt the credibility. i know emotion is a powerful thing. but i do not think it is powerful enough. there may be substantial truth though as it is a matter of science. maybe the alteration is too small to matter a human in his life time..

I had wondered about it at first, especially as being the first time that I had ever heard such, but then I looked up other sources for the same information...

Hello zoey7879, I saw a television program in which drought like situations altered the DNA composition of rats. The study showed that such alteration of DNA due to stressful conditions was passed down to several generations. We may therefore be effectively a sum of what our forefathers experienced. :-)

hi zoey it is indeed fascinating. the more facts theyu'
can find about us and energywaves and our dnA the better.
Maybe through these studies will come help for various
diseases we now suffer, perhaps the changes in dna will show'doctors and scientists how to better treat different illnesses. here is
to more research.
