Well friend your reputation does not depend on how many post you make. It is only depended upon the rating given by the users here. At the side of every discussions and response you can see positive, negative sign. So the more positive ratings you get, more will be your reputation.
Give long and quality responses and your reputation will automatically increase.
Hope you enjoy here.

It doesn't matter how much you post, most of it is based on the quality of your posts, make long, quality posts with lots of information and insight into your opinion on the discussion. The star next to your name displays your level.

There isn't really a set number you need to post to up your reputation. The star is what people rate you for you discussions. The number by your name is related to how much you post. If you want to have a lot of people answering your discussions it helps to post good quality discussions and at least one or two a day so that people are seeing you often. One member was pretty successful by posting news stories she found online. People started to look forward to her discussions and always would answer them.
